Britney Spears' marriage to Kevin Federline officially ended Monday.
"They are divorced," the pop star's attorney, Laura Wasser, said after a Superior Court hearing. "Everything is finalized."
Court Commissioner Scott Gordon signed orders for dissolution of marriage, an alimony agreement and child custody.
The alimony agreement will not be made public unless there is an enforcement issue, Wasser said.
"Most of that tracks the prenup," the attorney said, without elaborating.
The child custody order was tentatively sealed, pending an Aug. 14 hearing.
"The best interests of the children could be harmed" if the arrangement were not sealed, Gordon said.
Spears married Federline in October 2004, eight months after her first marriage to childhood friend Jason Alexander was annulled. She cited irreconcilable differences when she filed for divorce from Federline on Nov. 7, 2006.
Wasser said that Spears was "OK" with the terms of the settlement but that "she would like to be with her kids more."
Since February, Spears, 25, and Federline, 29, have shared joint custody of their two sons, 22-month-old Sean Preston and 10-month-old Jayden James

Why Was Usher's Wedding Cancelled?

R and B star Usher's July 28th wedding to Tameka Foster was reportedly called off because of a series of differences between the pair.
The superstar was looking forward to marry his pregnant fiance at record executive Antonio 'L.A.' Reid's home in Long Island, New York.
But the ceremony was scrapped just hours before the ceremony, allegedly due to a string of disagreements between the couple, as well as Usher's mother's disapproval of the awaiting nuptials.
"Usher's mother [and former manager, Jonetta Patton, whom he fired in May] is against the wedding. That is one of the main obstacles. They only decided two weeks ago to have a wedding. They wanted to have it take place before the baby bump started showing," People quoted a source, as saying.
However, another source revealed that it was Usher who decided against the marriage at the eleventh hour, because of past few rough days between the pair.
"Usher changed his mind. They had a lot of differences about the details. For example, the bride wanted barbeque, [and] he wanted to have [renowned chef] Jean Georges cook," the source said.
The source added that as a result of the differences, the wedding "was on again off again for the past few days. [Foster] was calling it off because she wasn't getting the things that she wanted. The mother was calling it off. ... Usher was calling it off."
Usher's spokeswoman, Patti Webster issued a statement on the same day of the cancelled wedding refusing to comment on whether or not the couple had split.
"It was announced today that the wedding ceremony for Usher Raymond IV and Tameka Foster was cancelled. No additional information will be given regarding the circumstances of the cancellation, but we hope the privacy of this matter will be respected," Webster said.
Usher confirmed the pregnancy of his stylist girlfriend Foster in January this year and the couple confirmed engagement reports in June.

Director Bergman, Actor Serrault Die

Swedish director Ingmar Bergman, an iconoclastic filmmaker widely regarded as one of the great masters of modern cinema, died Monday, local media reported. He was 89 years old.
Bergman died at his home in Faro, Sweden, Swedish news agency TT said, citing his daughter Eva Bergman. A cause of death wasn't immediately available.
Through more than 50 films, Bergman's vision encompassed all the extremes of his beloved Sweden: the claustrophobic gloom of unending winter nights, the gentle merriment of glowing summer evenings and the bleak magnificence of the island where he spent his last years.
Bergman, who approached difficult subjects such as plague and madness with inventive technique and carefully honed writing, became one of the towering figures of serious filmmaking.
He was "probably the greatest film artist, all things considered, since the invention of the motion picture camera," Woody Allen said in a 70th birthday tribute in 1988.
Bergman first gained international attention with 1955's "Smiles of a Summer Night," a romantic comedy that inspired the Stephen Sondheim musical "A Little Night Music."
"The Seventh Seal," released in 1957, riveted critics and audiences. An allegorical tale of the medieval Black Plague years, it contains one of cinema's most famous scenes — a knight playing chess with the shrouded figure of Death.
"I was terribly scared of death," Bergman said of his state of mind when making the film, which was nominated for an Academy Award in the best picture category.
The film distilled the essence of Bergman's work — high seriousness, flashes of unexpected humor and striking images.
In an interview in 2004 with Swedish broadcaster SVT, the reclusive filmmaker admitted that he was reluctant to view his work.
"I don't watch my own films very often. I become so jittery and ready to cry ... and miserable. I think it's awful," Bergman said.
Though best known internationally for his films, Bergman was also a prominent stage director. He worked at several playhouses in Sweden from the mid-1940s, including the Royal Dramatic Theater in Stockholm which he headed from 1963 to 1966. He staged many plays by the Swedish author August Strindberg, whom he cited as an inspiration.
The influence of Strindberg's grueling and precise psychological dissections could be seen in the production that brought Bergman an even-wider audience: 1973's "Scenes From a Marriage." First produced as a six-part series for television, then released in a theater version, it is an intense detailing of the disintegration of a marriage.
Bergman showed his lighter side in the following year's "The Magic Flute," again first produced for TV. It is a fairly straight production of the Mozart opera, enlivened by touches such as repeatedly showing the face of a young girl watching the opera and comically clumsy props and costumes.
Bergman remained active later in life with stage productions and occasional TV shows. He said he still felt a need to direct, although he had no plans to make another feature film.
In the fall of 2002, Bergman, at age 84, started production on "Saraband," a 120-minute television movie based on the two main characters in "Scenes From a Marriage."
In a rare press conference, the reclusive director said he wrote the story after realizing he was "pregnant with a play."
"At first I felt sick, very sick. It was strange. Like Abraham and Sarah, who suddenly realized she was pregnant," he said, referring to biblical characters. "It was lots of fun, suddenly to feel this urge returning."
The son of a Lutheran clergyman and a housewife, Ernst Ingmar Bergman was born in Uppsala on July 14, 1918, and grew up with a brother and sister in a household of severe discipline that he described in painful detail in the autobiography "The Magic Lantern."
The title comes from his childhood, when his brother got a "magic lantern" — a precursor of the slide-projector — for Christmas. Ingmar was consumed with jealousy, and he managed to acquire the object of his desire by trading it for a hundred tin soldiers.
The apparatus was a spot of joy in an often-cruel young life. Bergman recounted the horror of being locked in a closet and the humiliation of being made to wear a skirt as punishment for wetting his pants.
He broke with his parents at 19 and remained aloof from them, but later in life sought to understand them.
The story of their lives was told in the television film "Sunday's Child," directed by his own son Daniel.
Young Ingmar found his love for drama production early in life. The director said he had coped with the authoritarian environment of his childhood by living in a world of fantasies. When he first saw a movie he was greatly moved.
"Sixty years have passed, nothing has changed, it's still the same fever," he wrote of his passion for film in the 1987 autobiography.
But he said the escape into another world went so far that it took him years to tell reality from fantasy, and Bergman repeatedly described his life as a constant fight against demons, also reflected in his work.
The demons sometimes drove him to great art — as in "Cries and Whispers," the deathbed drama that climaxes when the dying woman cries "I am dead, but I can't leave you." Sometimes they drove him over the top, as in "Hour of the Wolf" where a nightmare-plagued artist meets real-life demons on a lonely island.
Bergman also waged a fight against real-life tormentors: Sweden's powerful tax authorities.
In 1976, during a rehearsal at the Royal Dramatic Theater, police came to take Bergman away for interrogation about tax evasion. The director, who had left all finances to be handled by a lawyer, was questioned for hours while his home was searched. When released, he was forbidden to leave the country.
The case caused an enormous uproar in the media and Bergman had a mental breakdown that sent him to hospital for over a month. He was later absolved of all accusations and in the end only had to pay some extra taxes.
In his autobiography he admitted to guilt in only one aspect: "I signed papers that I didn't read, even less understood."
The experience made him go into voluntary exile in Germany, to the embarrassment of the Swedish authorities. After nine years, he returned to Stockholm, his longtime base.
It was in the Swedish capital that Bergman broke into the world of drama, starting with a menial job at the Royal Opera House after dropping out of college.
In 1942, Bergman was hired by the script department of Swedish Film Industry, the country's main production company, as an assistant script writer.
In 1944 his first original screenplay was filmed by Alf Sjoeberg, the dominant Swedish film director of the time. "Torment" won several awards including the Grand Prize of the 1946 Cannes Film Festival, and soon Bergman was directing an average of two films a year as well as working with stage production.
After the acclaimed "The Seventh Seal," he quickly came up with another success in "Wild Strawberries," in which an elderly professor's car trip to pick up an award is interspersed with dreams.
Other noted films include "Persona," about an actress and her nurse whose identities seem to merge, and "The Autumn Sonata," about a concert pianist and her two daughters, one severely handicapped and the other burdened by her child's drowning.
The date of the funeral has not yet been set, but will be attended by a close group of friends and family, the TT news agency reported.

FRENCH ACTOR MICHEL SERRAULT DIES

French actor Michel Serrault, whose performance as a transvestite in the film and screen versions of "La cage aux folles" (The Birdcage) catapulted him to international stardom, has died, his priest said Monday. He was 79.
Serrault died Sunday of cancer in his home in the northwestern city of Honfleur, Rev. Alain Maillard de La Morandais said.
Serrault appeared in more than 130 films during a career that spanned half a century. After debuting as a comic actor, Serrault became one of France's most versatile stars, playing a serial killer, a grizzled farmer, a crooked banker and accused rapist.
"I'm against those who only want to entertain," Serrault said in 2002. "I am very happy with all the roles I've played, and I take responsibility for them all."
French President Nicolas Sarkozy paid homage to Serrault's "impressive filmography," calling the actor a "monument of the world of the theater, the cinema and the television."
Born on Jan. 24, 1928, in Brunoy, south of Paris, Serrault initially set his sights on the priesthood, briefly entering a seminary. He dropped out, he later explained, because of the vow of chastity.
After studying acting in Paris, Serrault began as his stage career playing in cabarets.
He made his silver screen debut in 1954 in Jean Loubignac's "Ah! les belles bacchantes" (Oh, the lovely bacchantes), which was released as "Peek-a-boo" in the United States. His first big break came in 1972, with a leading role in Pierre Tchernia's "Le Viager" (The Life Annuity.)
But it was his role as flamboyant gay nightclub owner Albin Mougeotte, also known as Zaza Napoli, in the theater and film versions of the mega-hit "La cage aux folles" (The Birdcage) that catapulted him to fame worldwide. His performance in director Edouard Molinaro's 1978 movie won him the first of three Cesar awards — the French version of the Oscar.
Serrault remained active, featuring in films through his late seventies. Among his final films was Pierre Javaux's 2006 "Les enfants du pays" (Hometown Boys), about the role of African soldiers in WWII.
Serrault is survived by his wife, Juanita, and daughter, Nathalie.

The rehabbed actress is due to appear in court on August 24.

NOT READY FOR TELL-ALL ?

Lindsay Lohan is not planning for a tell-all interview with OK! Magazine, her rep has said.
Perez Hilton had claimed that the troubled actress is going to give an exclusive interview to the publication.
The rep said that there is absolutely no truth in the reports, and that the report is 'fabricated'.
"There is absolutely no truth to the report that Lindsay is doing a tell-all interview with OK! Magazine or anyone else this week. That is completely fabricated," Usmagazine.com quoted the rep, as saying.
The 'Mean Girls' star, who is charged for DUI, is due to appear in court on August 24.

Pammie No More Interested in TV or Film!

Pamela Anderson isn't interested in doing anymore films or TV shows, for she's having the time of her life playing a magician's assistant in Las Vegas.
The former Baywatch babe has been working alongside illusionist Hans Klok in Sin City for the past few weeks and now thinks that the job is her "calling".
"I'm having the best time doing this - I want to be in Vegas forever. It's so glamorous," The Sun quoted her, as saying.
And though she doesn't know what the future holds for her after December when her contract runs out, she insists that she's not interested in TV or films.
"I'm definitely staying until December, but then who knows. I don't want to do any more TV or film, though," she said.
"Doing this is what I love - it's just so over the top," she added.

Jessica Alba's not attracted to sex scenes

Jessica Alba’s male fans might be upset, for the actress is not interested in steaming the lens with her bare all shots or sex scenes.
The 26-year-old insisted that she was more fascinated by ‘innocent’ roles.
“I’m attracted to roles that are more innocent,” the Sun quoted Alba, as saying.
“I haven’t done a sex scene and I’ve never done nudity,” she said.
The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer star also admitted that she’s more than a bit clumsy.
“The other day I closed a door on my head. I know I usually play co-ordinated people, but I’m not one, she added.

Brittany Wears Nothing in 'Black Water…’!

Fans of Brittany Snow are in for a treat, for the actress reveals that she's worn nothing in her upcoming flick 'Black Water Transit'.
The 21-year-old, who plays a troubled hooker, Sardoonah in the film, revealed that her character made out with everyone and wore nothing in the entire film.
"Basically, I have sex with everybody in the movie. I wear nothing the entire time," US magazine quoted Snow, as saying.
Meanwhile, the 'Hairspray' actress who celebrated a three day birthday bash this year insisted that she was not looking forward to just becoming a celeb and enjoying parties, but wanted to show people her acting talent.
"I'm really excited to show people that I am an actual actress, not just wanting to be a celebrity and go to this party and that party," she said.
Apart from 'Black Water Transit', Snow also set to play a lead role in upcoming flick 'Prom Night', a remake of the hit horror film of the same name, starring Jamie Lee Curtis.

The wedding between Usher and his pregnant fiance has been canceled, his publicist told The Associated Press on Saturday.
The wedding between the multiplatinum singer and his longtime girlfriend, Tameka Foster, was scheduled for Saturday. The pair are expecting their first child together sometime this fall.
However, a statement released by publicist Patti Webster exclusively to the AP read: "It was announced today that the wedding ceremony for Usher Raymond, IV and Tameka Foster was canceled. No additional information will be given regarding the circumstances of the cancellation, but we hope the privacy of this matter will be respected."

Webster would not comment on whether the two were still engaged or even a couple.

LOS ANGELES - The TV comedy "Ugly Betty" and the film "Pan's Labyrinth" won top honors Saturday at the 22nd annual Imagen Awards.

"Babel," the critically praised movie that weaves stories set in Mexico and four other countries, lost in four categories.
The Imagen Awards honor contributions by and about Hispanics in the entertainment industry.
ABC's "Ugly Betty," which has received 11 Emmy nominations, was named best prime-time television program. Its star, America Ferrera, who is in the running for an Emmy, was named best TV actress and also received the Imagen Foundation's Creative Achievement Award.
The show's Ana Ortiz won for best supporting actress.
"Pan's Labyrinth," the surrealistic movie about a young girl who turns to fairy tales to escape the brutality of fascist Spain, was named best picture.
Mexican director Guillermo del Toro got the directing award and Ivana Baquero, the movie's 13-year-old star, was best actress.
Mel Gibson's brutal Mayan epic, "Apocalypto," lost for best picture but Gerardo Teracena and Dalia Hernandez were chosen best supporting actor and actress.
More than 2,000 people attended ceremonies at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

Lohan's New Movie One of Year’s Worst!

There's a fresh candidate in the running for worst movie of 2007 honors. "I Know Who Killed Me," a ridiculous thriller (minus the thrills) starring the embattled Lindsay Lohan in a dual role, has all the hallmarks necessary for qualification: A nonsensical plot that grows sillier by the second, tawdry special effects, heavy-handed symbolism that's big on electric-blue hues and mechanical performances are all culprits as far as the title's concerned.
We'll probably never know whether Lohan's most recent difficulties took their toll on the picture's box office potential, because either way, this movie doesn't even warrant one star. It was released on Friday without screening in advance for critics.
Lohan plays Aubrey Fleming, an aspiring writer and promising pianist who disappears one evening while out with friends only to turn up in a hospital minus a hand and a leg after barely escaping from a madman's torture chamber.
When her distraught parents (Julia Ormond, Neal McDonough) rush to her side while guys in FBI T-shirts methodically hunt for her would-be killer, she doesn't recognize the name they call her, insisting that she's Dakota Moss, a pole dancer in a seedy strip joint who subsequently has reason to believe she may actually be Aubrey's identical twin sister.
Don't even ask.
You might, however, find yourself asking just what was Lohan -- whose promising career already has taken a few hits with such films as "Just My Luck" and "Georgia Rule" -- thinking when she signed on to this nonsense?
Maybe she was attracted to playing two parts for the price of one, having already shown a knack for duality in those "Parent Trap" and "Freaky Friday" remakes.
Whatever the reason, Lohan, harshly lit throughout much of the film, finds herself fighting a losing battle as she attempts to breathe some sort of life into an alter ego character that already has serious credibility issues.
It's also curious how she's the only stripper in the place who gets to keep all her clothes on while strutting her stuff, and the grisly clientele doesn't seem to mind.
But that's the least of the problems with Jeffrey Hammond's script and Chris Sivertson's pretentious direction, which signals the identity of the real killer so early on in the game, you're sure it has to be a red -- or, make that blue -- herring.
And whatever remaining subtlety somehow managed to escaped Sivertson's attention in this HD film is effectively blasted into oblivion by Joel McNeely's bombastic, derivative score.
Cast:
Aubrey Fleming/Dakota Moss: Lindsay Lohan
Susan Fleming: Julia Ormond
Daniel Fleming: Neal McDonough
Jerrod: Brian Geraghty
Director: Chris Sivertson; Screenwriter: Jeffrey Hammond; Producer: Frank Mancuso Jr.; Executive producers: Tom Gores, Johnny O. Lopez; Director of photography: John R. Leonetti; Production designer: Jerry Fleming; Music: Joel McNeely; Costume designer: Rachel Sage Kunin; Editor: Lawrence Jordan.

Winslet Says She'll Never Be a Bond Girl!

Actress Kate Winslet thinks her chances of playing a Bond girl have receded following her refusal to dress raunchily.
Winslet, who has previously stripped off for movies like "Titanic" and "Little Children", was quoted by The Mirror as saying that: "Young women in those films always have to take their clothes off and kind of run around with daggers in their bikini bottoms."
Winslet has been urged to quit working as a L'Oreal spokesmodel after the cosmetics giant was found guilty of racism.
The French company appeared in court last week accused of using only white women to promote its Garnier shampoos.
Now, Winslet and British actor Clive Owen are under pressure to end their associations with L'Oreal and make their stance on racism clear.

Just Another Wretched Sunday Morning

You'd think I might be used to this by now.
My head all alone on the pillow.
A carpet of last night's bourbon on my tongue.
You'd think I might be used to this by now, but no.
I've been behaving like a puppy-dog chasing it's own tail.
Like a fool.
Like a chump.
Like a patsy.
Like a motherfucking shmuck.
There are simply too many people in London and not enough space.
Bottom line. There’s no way around it. It’s just the way of things.
We live all ontop of each other; stacked corpses in our private catacombs.
On some mornings, the walls and the ceilings feel paper thin.
I can hear the neighbours breathing in the flat upstairs.
I can hear the neighbours in the flat next door slurping tea.
Above and to the left of me I can hear my neighbours laughing.
Through the wall. Through the ceiling.
And it feels like they're laughing at me.

Jennnifer Aniston splits with British Model

Jennifer Aniston is looking for love once again after breaking up with her British bricklayer-turned-model beau Paul Sculfor.
Sources say that the couple, who were spotted on secret romantic dates in May this year, had decided to call it quits because of their conflicting interests.
It seems that Aniston and Sculfor had not seen each other for weeks before they broke up after he flew back to the UK for a photo shoot.
An insider revealed that though there had been unmistakable chemistry between the two, Aniston and Sculfor wanted different things.
“There was chemistry, but the truth is that Jen wants to settle down with a reliable man and start a family. Paul travels a lot and is constantly surrounded by beautiful women,” The Sun quoted the insider, as saying.
“They remain friends, but are just in different places,” the source added.
A source revealed to Life and Style Weekly that another reason for the break-up was because her pals were concerned she was getting too close to Sculfor without knowing him.
“Courtney Cox and other friends were concerned that she was becoming close to Paul without really knowing him,” the source said.

Naomi Watts Has a Baby Boy

Naomi Watts has given birth to a baby boy.
Alexander Pete Schreiber was born Wednesday in Los Angeles and weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces, Watts' publicist Robin Baum said Thursday.
It's the first child for the Australian actress and her boyfriend, actor Liev Schreiber.
Watts, 38, and Schreiber, 39, co-starred in last year's "The Painted Veil."
Watts also has starred in "King Kong," "Mulholland Dr.," "The Ring" and its sequel. Schreiber's credits include "The Manchurian Candidate," the HBO movie "RKO 281" and the Broadway play "Talk Radio."

Frantic 911 Plea Released in Lohan Case

In the minutes before Lindsay Lohan's arrest, the mother of her former personal assistant called 911 and pleaded frantically for help because a mysterious car was following her — unaware that Lohan was behind the wheel, according to an audio copy released Thursday.
Lohan's personal assistant had quit hours before the event, according to police.
The woman apparently didn't realize that Lohan was in the vehicle following her when she contacted a Santa Monica police dispatcher shortly after 1:30 a.m. Tuesday while driving on Wilshire Boulevard.
"We were just about to park our car. We are turning home and out of nowhere a huge white GMC came up," the woman said to the dispatcher. The recording included unintelligible remarks apparently to the woman's passenger.
"We're being followed by a GMC ... the gentleman jumped out of the car," she added a few seconds later. "Oh my God, sir, they're following us. We need help."
During the nearly three-minute 911 call, the dispatcher repeatedly asked the woman where she is. The woman eventually said she was heading for the police station.
Police said the woman, accompanied by a passenger, drove her black Cadillac Escalade into the parking lot of Santa Monica's Civic Auditorium, about a block away from the police department, followed by Lohan driving a Yukon sport utility vehicle.
"There he is, that white GMC pickup," the dispatcher said to someone as the car appeared.
During the call, the woman could be heard saying "Oh my God, what is he doing?" Near the end, hysterical but muffled yelling and screaming is heard.
"They're in front of HQ now. Roll somebody code. Ma'am, what's going on there? Hello? Hello? Ma'am? Hello?" the dispatcher said.
A few moments later, a police unit showed up and the woman could be heard in the background, apparently pointing out people to the officers.
"That's him, that's him right there," she said. "And him, stop them."
Authorities who arrived saw Lohan and the woman in what police have called a "heated debate." They also said two men were with Lohan in the car.
Lohan was arrested for investigation of misdemeanor driving under the influence and with a suspended license, and felony cocaine possession

Actress Penelope Cruz is in awe of U2 star Bono's charitable nature and has hailed him as her "hero".
The Spanish beauty, who partied with the rocker in the trendy French city of St. Tropez earlier this week, is impressed by Bono's philanthropy and his dedication to raising awareness about causes like the fight against Aids and poverty in Africa.
She says, "He is so powerful yet so human. Seeing him investing all his time and effort is something to admire.

Angelina Jolie Gets Racy for 'Beowulf'!

Angelina Jolie has shown her sexy side once again-this time posing for a racy shot for her new film "Beowulf". The 'Tomb Raider' star has been transformed into the mother of Grendel the monster, the father of all evil from Anglo-Saxon mythology, for the adult fantasy film, to be directed by Robert Zemeckis. The actress stars alongside British actors Ray Winston, who plays her evil son, and Sir Anthony Hopkins who plays King Hrothgar. Striking a sultry pose in a promotion shot for the film, Jolie's digitally enhanced body emerges from a dark pool of water, her face masked in gloomy shadow and hair styled to look like a spitting snake. The first public viewing of "Beowulf" was dished up in digital 3-D projection at Comic-Con in San Diego on July 25.

Rowling Plans Harry Potter Encyclopaedia

There's good news for all those who think that Harry Potter author, JK Rowling is over with the boy wizard.
The bestseller novelist is now contemplating penning an encyclopaedia about the seven books and movie franchise.
The British author came out with the seventh and final Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on July 21.
However, she plans to conclude the series with an A to Z descriptive guide, through which fans will get many more details about their favourite characters as well as more news about the wizarding world.
Rowling said that the Harry Potter Encyclopaedia will presumably include back stories of characters she has already written but had to slice for the sake of the narrative plus details about the characters who survive "Deathly Hallows," and continue to live on in her mind.
"There's always been bits that I knew about characters that didn't make the final cuts because they weren't that relevant," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

Singer Mindy McCready Taken into Custody

Country singer Mindy McCready was taken into custody Wednesday at Nashville International Airport, accused of violating her probation after a scuffle with her mother and authorities in Florida, officials said.
McCready, 31, was arrested last week in Fort Myers, Fla., her hometown, on misdemeanor charges that she scratched her mother on the face and then resisted sheriff's deputies.
She was on probation for obtaining the painkiller OxyContin fraudulently at a pharmacy in 2004. Still pending was another probation violation charge resulting from a drunken driving arrest in May 2005.
Deputy District Attorney General Derek Smith told The Tennessean that she violated probation in three ways: by being charged in a new offense; not reporting those charges immediately to her probation officer; and by the nature of the new assault charges.
An official at the Williamson County sheriff's office just south of Nashville said McCready was being booked Wednesday night.
The Williamson County Court Clerk said McCready's previous attorney, Lee Dryer, had withdrawn as her lawyer. It was not yet known whether she had a new attorney.
McCready had a hit in 1996 with "Guys Do It All the Time." Her album "Ten Thousand Angels" sold 2 million copies that year.
The singer was found not guilty of the DUI charge in July 2006 but guilty of driving on a suspended license. She then pleaded guilty to violating her probation but has petitioned to withdraw that plea.

K-Fed Refuses to Talk to Britney!

The Britney Spears-Kevin Federline divorce battle just might turn into a nasty fight, they are no longer on speaking terms. As for how the cold war between the two started, well it seems that it all began when K-Fed and Britney's mum Lynn banded together and "strong-armed" her into rehab. Bitter over that fact, Britney wouldn't even speak to Federline once she got out of the Promises clinic in Malibu. However, with a custody battle likely especially given the fact that Britney is reaching breaking point once again, the singer is eager to get in touch with her estranged hubby, reports TMZ. The only problem is that now he is the one who won't talk to her. All this is apparently making Britney a bit nervous, for not only are there little things involving their sons like the nannies and which Sunday school the kids will attend, there also looms the greater issue of which parent will get physical custody. Britney and K-Fed currently have joint-custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James, but sources reveal that that's not an arrangement the singer is happy with, and that she wants full custody.

Matt Damon: 'Lohan will bounce back'

Matt Damon believes troubled actress Lindsay Lohan will bounce back from her recent drunk-driving arrest, declaring, "She's very talented."
The Mean Girls star was arrested for driving under the influence and possession of cocaine in the early hours of Tuesday morning. She is currently free on $25,000 bail and is seeking "medical care," according to her lawyer.
Damon says, "I think there a lot of people who want to help her out, and it's a very personal thing. Most people know someone in their lives that's struggling with a disease like that, and the reality is you can only support them and it's got to come from them--it's her choice ultimately.
"I mean, look, she's very young, she's very talented; it's easy to look from the outside and say, 'Oh, you have this big opportunity.'
"It's really hard to know that when you're in the middle of it, and to see life from any other perspective other than your own--particularly when you're that young. She's obviously hit a chord with people, because people are so fascinated with her, so everybody's pulling for her, that's for sure."

Why Posh hates Paris

One of the hardest things that Victoria Beckham will have to get used to if she wants to live in America is
the lack of tact displayed by most people. And in this case, most people includes Paris Hilton.
Upon her move to America, Victoria was reportedly approached about pursuing a friendship with Paris. “We could be soul mates,” Paris told her friends. But Vic had other thoughts… “Over my dead body!”
Apparently Paris is a bit obsessed with Victoria’s husband David Beckham. Earlier this month, the heiress was quoted as calling the football stud “hot” and Posh isn’t too thrilled about it.
And that goes for all the Hollywood ladies that may want a piece of the new British import. “Although she trusts David 100 per cent, she will not tolerate any of the Los Angeles party girls making a move on him, or seeing him as fair game.
“She wants this to be very clear from the start — David is a devoted family man and these women should forget about trying it on with him,” said a friend of the Beckhams.

‘Paris Hilton’ enjoys Hustler lesbian romp

'Paris Hilton' has enjoyed a lesbian sex romp in a prison cell toilet with a female cell mate who used a strap on to have sex with her. Unfortunately lads, this is just the latest mocked up photo shoot in mens magazine Hustler. The real Miss Hilton would never do such a thing. The publication thought it would be a good idea to present it's interpretation of the heiress' 19 day prison experience. Paris is played by model Christine Alexis who posed for the x-rated shots with cell mate Lucia (played by model Adriana Sage).

Britney behaved badly at photo shoot

Britney Spears sat back and watched as her Yorkshire terrier puppy pooped on a $6,700 designer gown at a photo shoot for OK! magazine. "I wasn't in the room but I was there to hear the upset shrieks of the stylist," editor-in-chief Sarah Ivens told The Associated Press in a phone interview Wednesday. "Her assistant dealt with it in the end, after being asked to take care of it. They had to be asked to clear it up." Spears also wiped grease on a designer dress, treating it like "a napkin," took frequent trips to the bathroom — leaving the door open — and complained that the high-end clothing put together for the July 19 fashion shoot weren't sexy, short or tight enough, the magazine said. After about three hours, the 25-year-old singer bolted, walking away with more than $14,000 of borrowed apparel, Ivens said. "I've never seen anything like it," she said. "It's definitely the most bizarre shoot I've ever been on." Representatives for Spears had offered an exclusive interview that was intended as career comeback for the singer, Ivens said. "What actually transpired on the day was a shock to us and left me and the whole crew feeling quite shocked and sad, really," she said. OK! publicist Brian Strong said the magazine didn't publish the photos in its latest issue because they "weren't up to standard." A representative at Jive Records, Spears' record label, didn't immediately return a phone call and e-mail seeking comment Wednesday. "She needs to have a really strong team to advise her what to do, what not to do," Ivens said. "And then, if she gets that, I'm sure she can pull it around. It's all there. She's got talent. She just needs to get her priorities straight, I think."

Lohan jail website fetching £10K

Just hours after Lindsay Lohan was carted off to the police station for her latest arrest, fans began cashing in on her misfortune.
A bidding war has erupted on auction site eBay after speculation the disgraced actress will go to jail, with domain names selling to celebrate the event.
Currently, www.lohanjailed.com is valued at £9,700 ($20,000) and climbing.
Meanwhile, a Lindsay Lohan doll has been mocked up complete with moveable VIP ropes and directors chair to rest her hangovers on.
According to web reports, Barbie manufacturers Mattel say: 'this doll captures the likeness of Lindsay Lohan, and her fun, trendy outfit complements her fashion-forward sense of style.'

Earlier Lohan came out fighting after her latest arrest for drink-driving, appealing: 'I'm innocent'.

The dogged 21-year-old reportedly responded to an email from US showbiz site, Access Hollywood saying: 'Yes. I am innocent… did not do drugs they're not mine.'
The actress also defended herself against allegations she was chasing her assistant Tarin and her mother in a white SUV saying: 'I was almost hit by my assistant Tarin's mom.
'I appreciate everyone giving me my privacy.'
Her comments follow her dramatic arrest early Tuesday morning where she was picked up for drink-driving by Santa Monica Police.
They also reportedly found cocaine in her trouser pocket.
Police went after the Mean Girls actress after responding to a 911 call from another driver who said they were being chased.
The cops then pulled over a white vehicle to find Lohan driving with two passengers in the car.
The passengers were released and Lohan was later freed on bail for £12,500.
According to Police, Li-lo refused to take a breathalyzer but did take other sobriety tests which she failed.
She was then taken to jail after her blood-alcohol level registered .12. The legal limit is .08. Meanwhile, her estranged father Michael, has made an emotional plea to his daughter.
Lohan could face up to five years in jail as this is the second time she has been charged with drinking-driving and drug possession in two months.
The ordained minister, who served almost two years in prison for Driving While Intoxicated himself, said: 'I just want her to get it. Just get it, honey.
'Please, I can't take this anymore and neither can anyone else. I'm tired of all this. You need your parents and that's all that's important. Just let me reach out to you and be there for you.'
Asked if he thought the possibility of his daughter going to jail would help her, he responded: 'I think the first 24 – 48 hours of any jail time is good enough to serve a person," her father replied. 'It's a very, very trying process.
'I can feel what Lindsay is going through because I've been there myself,' Michael added.
Meanwhile her lawyer released a statement saying: 'Addiction is a terrible and vicious disease. Since Lindsay transitioned to outpatient care, she has been monitored on a SCRAM bracelet and tested daily in order to support her sobriety. Throughout this period, I have received timely and accurate reports from the testing companies.'
'Unfortunately, I was informed that Lindsay had relapsed. The bracelet has now been removed. She is safe, out of custody and presently receiving medical care.'

Britney Spears to reveal all!

Pop superstar Britney Spears is to set the record straight about her much-publicized personal problems in a revealing interview with a US lifestyle magazine, according to reports.
The troubled star, 25, is said to have personally called the magazine's main switchboard and asked to speak to the publication's editor-in-chief, Sara Ivens, to negotiate a deal for the interview.
And the mother of two is expected to tell all about her rift with her mother, Lynne, her custody battle and impending divorce from ex Kevin Federline, and her one-month stint in rehab in February.

Serena Williams adjusts her bikini

Tennis ace Serena Williams looks circumspect as she tried to relax in the Miami sun. She took a break from tennis to spent time with her boyfriend, Jackie Long, on Miami beach, not far from the home she shares with sister Venus in Palm Beach. The curvy star showed off her fuller figure in a teeny black string bikini as she swam, photographed her boyfriend and played with sea weed on Miami beach. With her thunder thighs and bulging biceps, she is a formidable opponent on the tennis court.

Britney baby one more time?

Britney Spears could be about to churn out yet another child.

According to reports, the singer is pregnant with her third child but unfortunately for Britney, she's not quite sure who the father is.

A close source reportedly told NW magazine, the 25-year-old has been gushing to her inner circle: 'I'm pregnant'.
The source claims: 'She's been secretly filling her pals in on the good news since last week.'

'Britney is in shock herself, this definitely wasn't planned.''She's thrilled just the same.'

Two would-be father's on shortlist could be former lover and drug counsellor, John Sundahl, or according to some her bodyguard, Daimon Shippen.
Sundahl recently spilt the beans on his brief romance with Britney saying: 'Britney told me she loved me – and I was foolish enough to believe her.'
'We were having sex, I truly cared for her.'
But the 38-year-old reportedly alleges Spears was at it at the same time with Shippen, claiming:
'I'd met Daimon when he came to the hospital with Britney.'
'He's younger than me and in better shape – and didn't have 62 staples in his gut stopping him from romancing her.'
Spears already has two young sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline, one-year-old Sean Preston and 10-month-old Jayden James.
Meanwhile, the Toxic singer could be about to spill the beans on her breakdown, divorce and troubles with her mum after personally requesting an interview with OK!
Now in-charge of her own publicity, Britney shocked the receptionist of the US publication, when she called up herself and asked to speak to the editor, Sara Ivens.
She asked Ivens for a tell-all deal, which was reportedly granted and is now set for publication next week.
A spokesperson from the singer's record label, Sony BMG, was not available for comment.
