    That made me LOL
    like this:
    HA HA HAAAA

I'll be here all week :)
On a sidenote, it wasn't really meant to be funny, it just makes trolls look stupid when they quote you, or if you forget to come back you get your point across.

I have Simple Mobile service. I had been told to disable the 3G option on my iPhone 3gs. Now I have a new iPhone 4. With Gevey, can I now use the 3G enable? Will my phone work on 3G network? Thank you!

It should work fine with 3G on.

I would go to the apple store, but I don't know how the whole situation would go with it being in the mall? I'm taking my chances at the att store. I'm just going to set up the night before and wait it out.

Is that done just by going to accounts, unlocking the lock, right clicking the name and selecting the home folder -- and I presume just making sure it's the same folder that is selected for SL?

Also, given my setup (SSD booting and running SL with my apps) what is the best way to install Lion? I have the dmg. file, so what would I do to make sure I don't wipe out my SSD situation?

I have been a PC user for basicly my entire life, but I have never exactly been happy with it. The thing would crash, have the BSoD, but that is not really why i switched.

Basicly I got tired of the Windows Operating System, Bill Gates, and the millions of PC Viruses. I needed a notebook for college in the fall, and I picked up a 17" PowerBook G4 because it suites all of my needs and it replaces the need for a desktop for quite some time. I have enjoyedm first week as a Mac User because everything has worked so well, and I am actually used to all of the windows opened at the same time now! (I never understood before untill I actually spent hours upon hours with the thing)

I have now become addicted to iTunes and have puchased 68 songs in my first week. :D Another reason why I wanted the Mac is because of Final Cut Pro. I love watching and making movies so I felt that the Mac would be the best thing for me... The last movie I made was on my Pentium 4 box and I nearly threw it out of the window because it was so evil... Hopefully the Mac is more kind. I have not started to edit video on my Mac yet, but that is because I have not had the time.

I like my "little" 17" PowerBook because it works great and everyone I have shown it off to has been really amazed by it.

I got a Griffin "Elan Passport Metal" case from Best Buy with a cover flap. $23 or so. Doesn't look half bad. Should do the job.

Get either a Seagate or an Hitachi.

I could tell you bad stories about pretty much all the brands of hard drives that are around today. Seagate and Hitachi are the least trouble prone.

Find a parabolic equation that matches the graph.

/threadAs the graph is not of a parabolic function, what good would that do?

I have picked up (for free no less) an ultra-slim keyboard that feels really good.

Mini-Keyboard 5510M US PS/2 is the model number.

However, had Canon had all-in-ones available at the time I got the CX6400, as they do now, I would have gone for a Canon model instead.

Actually, they were all Canon units. Looked great and worked very well in the beginning.

That was my reason for being vague about any specific brand, all multifuntion units leave a lot to be desired in the quality department.

There ain't no free lunch. The only reason that all the manufacturers can offer such seemingly good value for money, is because they cut corners where you can't see - at least not at first anyhow.

    More about it here (http://www.macworld.com/news/2005/07/05/smithmicro/index.php?lsrc=mcrss).

Smith Micro makes FAXstf X (fax software) and QuickLink Mobile (wireless connectivity software) and was interested in Allume because of their newly developed compression software.Allume recently announced the development of a JPEG compression technique that yields a 30 percent reduction in the size of images without any penalty on image quality, and the company expects to be able to apply a similar technique to MPEG video and MP3 audio files.

    30 second fix

duplicate layer, layer mask, invert mask, brush in afflicted area on right side, adjustment layer of levels

new layer, clone brush / black paint brush over the white fringe edge that is left

    BAM

    awesome! thanks.

I knew there had to be a way and I was at my wit's end b/c I couldn't make it work.

I do appreciate it and I'll make sure to credit you in helping me when I explain to the client. As much as I wanted to do it myself, I just had to ask b/c this photo deserves to be fixed properly :)

There are also G4 optimized builds of Camino here (http://www.rpm-mozilla.org.uk/index.html). A 1.33GHz G4 iBook would use the "7450" build.
