I know we'll know for sure real soon, but I was just wondering if there's any expectation one way or the other regarding how likely the ipad2 will be jailbreak-able, either with the current apps or with current known but unused exploits.
Currently, there are no known ways to exploit/jailbreak the iPad 2, as the device hasn't come out yet.

I enjoy funmac.com, small community but everyone gets together good, been there since day 1
Macrumors is basically at the top of my list, even tho i barely ever get the time to visit, when i first joined i was treated as a n00b just because I didn't have a mac back then, but heh, this site has gotten heck alot better since some of the flamers are longgggg gone now

if your rating is low (I would say below 10) I would recommend that you just buy a bunch of cheap crap just for the feedback. I know they sell a lot of postcards and things for like a quarter. Other than that, I agree with ITASOR. The photo(s) makes or breaks the sale. Look at some other Imac g4 photos and see what looks good and what doesn't.
And last but not least, don't gouge on shipping. that's just tacky.

If you have a computer that you are able to use in the meantime, sell you MBA over craigslist and make due with the other computer until the refresh comes. If you can get a really good price for your current model then obviously you would only be putting very little cash towards the refresh.
If you DONT have a temp. computer to use, then wait until the refresh and see what it has to offer. You can still sell your MBA over craigslist for a little bit less and put it towards the newer refresh.
For your needs you will be fine with your current model. Since it was a gift you can use whatever money you have saved now and pull the trigger for a whole lot less.
People here successfully buy and sell during every refresh or 2 with very little to shell out for price differences. Take care of your mac, do daily research for MBA news, and make the decision.

I am doing this for several reasons; one is that I'm not the smatest guy in town and this is my way of "doing science" without the need for schooling in science, it's a challenge I can handle, it's fun, it WILL help people down the road as we begin to use the information from this project in the medical field (might even help me some day), it is USEFUL information not just the results but the computer science and developement aspect as well :) Go Pande labs! :p

I just picked up a Sony DSC-V3 for about $450. Helluva camera, normally $700 but I found it cheap online. I highly recommend it, many great features: 7.2MP, Full manual mode, awesome lens with the ability to add other lenses.

The D90 is a great camera however as you mentioned you are going on a trip the 18-55 will be to limiting, as someone suggested, the 18-200 is a great lens for the range it covers, however its not cheap. An alternative might be to go with the 18-55 and and the 55-200, in these two lenses you have a very large range that should suit your needs for the next while.

the iMac 20" is a powerful machine, with a nice design. Comfortable RAM (1Gb or above) is a must. My only comment: it can be kinda noisy because of the fans (and not only the faulty 1st revision), which is some time annoying because it's in front of you, on the desk (instead of under the table, obviously).

So I am looking to trade this phone for a unlocked 4G iphone, Must work on Tmoble, I have tons of refs here and sold over 100 items....

I can include one Zip 100 disc with jewel case. The drive is a Zip 250 from Iomega, a nice blue plastic like the iMac G3s and in mint condition. I think it has USB and SCSI, not sure though. Make me an offer that includes shipping for the drive and disc.

If you aren't buying it now, then your only option is to wait. When you have the money, then take a new look at the buyer's guide to see if there are any new news about the ACD.
