I've had no issues with SL like you're describing, including the applications you've mentioned. Remember that crashing issues may or may not be related to the OS... there's as good a chance of the software application in question being at fault as SL.

Thanks for the advice. I did open my 60gb and it feels great to be able to fit everything on it again and backup my full-size photos. I didn't necessarily want a video-iPod but I thought they may just update battery life, functions, design, etc. Here's to at least a few months of no iPod updates since I just bought a new one :)

I can understand not being able to sell until you have 250 posts. Not being able to buy however I don't understand. I don't even know how to tell how many posts I have on this forum. Never really thought I'd need to know...
For your post count, go to your profile. Right under the Buyer's Guide tab at the top of every page, there is a drop down Quick Links link. Second link from the bottom in the dropdown, Your Profile, then on the far right it shows your post count. Or click on your name in a forum post.

I'm planning on coming. I didn't pre-order so I'll get there pretty early. I'm going to call the store this week and try to find out if they have an idea of the number of phones not already sold through pre-order.
FWIW, I was walking by the store this weekend on the way to somewhere else so I popped in and I asked one of the workers if they were planning on having very many phones beyond the pre-order batch.
He did say that they were planning on having "some" but that he wasn't sure how long that batch would last hehe.

The purpose of a copyright is to protect works of authorship as fixed in a tangible form of expression (i.e. a thing not an idea). The art, photos, writing and design you make fall under this category. It protects people from copying or redistributing your work.
The purpose of a trademark is to protect words, phrases and logos used in federally regulated commerce to identify the source of goods and/or services. It represents an enterprise or a business. It protects your company from other companies trying to look like you. In the case your your logo, it would be used to prevent others from using a confusingly similar mark or name.
It is common for certain types of expression (like a brand) to sit under both copyright and trademark. If you are trying to protect a title, slogan, or other short word phrase, generally you want a trademark as a copyright does not cover such types of expression alone.
If your design is intended to identify the source of goods or services (i.e. a logo), it should be trademarked.
While copyright registration is primarily an administrative process (you fill out a form and send it off), trademark registration is an adversarial process.
It includes a substantive review of potentially conflicting marks in order to prove your uniqueness within a market segment.
For example: say you are doing a trademark search for a local motorcycle tuner/builder called "Redwing Motorcycle Company". During the trademark vetting process you would probably get an argument from Redwing Shoes saying the name/mark is too close to theirs (Redwing does sell a series of Motorcycle boots, so they may have some grounds here even though they are in a very different market). You might also get a call from Honda saying "We are a large motorcycle manufacturer. We have a famous product line called the 'GoldWing'. Our corporate color is Red." You will have to fight it out.
Other companies will be aggressive in protecting themselves. US trademark law works under a "use it or lose it" principle. Read up on how Carol Shelby lost the rights to his famous Cobra car design. ^This guy has no idea what he's talking about. I've purchased two new batteries for my hp laptop and everytime I've installed Windows 7, I then get an error saying I need to replace my battery and then when I go back on Vista it gives me only like 30 minutes of battery life. So yes Windows 7 does kill batteries and I've noticed I only get an hour with Windows 7 on my mbp 2011 and that's with brightness lowered and typing on here/sitting there doing nothing. I installed Windows 7 only because I need to use Microsoft 2007 for my class, but other than that I will not be using it.
P.S. It's because Windows 7 uses a lot of power just to run, so it overheats causing your battery to overheat and die.

I click my bookmark (http://www.spymac.com/gallery) to go and take a quick look around the oh-so-slow Spymac galleries, and look what now welcomes you when you first visit the site, a bloody great sales pitch :mad: :rolleyes: Same thing happens if you go to the front page. It only seems to come up when you first visit, and if you leave, but don't close your browser it will not be there if you go back again. But if you quit your browser then go back you will be greated by it again.
Spymac have now totally gone down the comercial pan.
edit: oh, and btw, we need to arrange to hunt down the dude "modeling" the shirt and wipe that grin off is face ;) :D

You're just not making a lot of sense to me either. It sounds like you are saying you have four components; vehicles, model, year, engine. Maybe your example mistakenly leads me to that conclusion. Your first post clearly says you have two components.

What is your budget? What do you expect to do with the camera? What lighting conditions? Will you be recording audio using the camera or an external device? What mics do you have/plan to get? How will it be supported? What do you plan to edit with? What is your final output?

You phone searching for a tower to "talk" to is VERY hard on the battery. This is likely your major problem.
thats what I thought it was, I will have to put it into airplane mode more to solve this problem, but I still do believe there is a problem with the battery so I will do a restore for good measure just to be sure.

Client uses Quark 8.5 and wants files in this format, so I've downloaded the trail version of Quark 9. How do I save this back? I had a poke about and figured file > export > layouts as project > pick version 8. Will this work in 8.5?
