Jolie, not Alba has the sexiest strut, says scientist

It seems that the scientific study that named Jessica Alba the sexiest walker is 'bogus', for a scientist has claimed the mathematical calculations reveal that Angelina Jolie is the actual winner.
The earlier study ranked Alba higher than Jolie, Kate Moss and even the legendary screen siren Marilyn Monroe.
However, Cambridge University Professor Richard Weber declared the Oscar winner as the 'sexiest strutter', reports TMZ.
Weber was commissioned to find out the sexiest walker by Clarion Communications, a PR firm that represents a hair removal product.
But, scientist Ben Goldacre, who writes for the Guardian, alleged that Clarion had already decided on the winner when they commissioned Weber to determine the sexiest swagger.
He added that the firm's rep had told him that they wanted Beyonce to emerge the winner.
"Beyonce to come out on top followed by other celebrities with curvy legs such as J-Lo and Kylie, and celebrities like Kate Moss and Amy Winehouse to be at the bottom -- e.g., skinny and pale unshapely legs are not as sexy," the rep told Goldacre.

Jolie joins movement to fight cancer

Angelina Jolie’s latest mission is fighting cancer. The 32-year-old actress — who lost her mother Marcheline Bertrand to ovarian cancer earlier this year — has pledged her time and support to TV star Fran Drescher’s Cancer Schmancer Movement.
The charity strives to ensure all women’s cancers are diagnosed in Stage 1, when they are most curable. Fran, 49, said: “Angelina’s mother did not win her battle, so she is going to lock elbows with me and we are going to do some things together.”
Fran — who launched the movement this year, seven years on from her own successful battle with uterine cancer — says the key to beating the disease is positive thinking.
Angelina — who is a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador — was so distraught when her mother died in January she broke down in tears during a TV interview

Angelina Jolie Gets Racy for 'Beowulf'!

Angelina Jolie has shown her sexy side once again-this time posing for a racy shot for her new film "Beowulf". The 'Tomb Raider' star has been transformed into the mother of Grendel the monster, the father of all evil from Anglo-Saxon mythology, for the adult fantasy film, to be directed by Robert Zemeckis. The actress stars alongside British actors Ray Winston, who plays her evil son, and Sir Anthony Hopkins who plays King Hrothgar. Striking a sultry pose in a promotion shot for the film, Jolie's digitally enhanced body emerges from a dark pool of water, her face masked in gloomy shadow and hair styled to look like a spitting snake. The first public viewing of "Beowulf" was dished up in digital 3-D projection at Comic-Con in San Diego on July 25.

Angelina doesn’t like freebies

Most of us would be excited if a big name designer sent us a package of complimentary clothing. But then, Angelina Jolie isn’t most of us.
The Wanted actress made a quiet statement by returning a package that a designer had sent for her kids. She sent a thank you note as well.
And insider told press, “Angelina returned the clothes with a nice thank-you note. “But she made it clear she could not accept the gift, as she didn’t know exactly who sent them.”
It’s not out of character for Jolie to deny fancy designer gifts though. Just recently she attended a NYC movie premiere in a $26 (Rs 1,051) vintage dress, rather than some extravagant designer’s gift.
She’s also chosen local schools for her children, in lieu of a private tutor while she films on location in the Czech Republic.
While this may surprise some people, it’s all about keeping the proper perspective for Angelina and her brood.
