Jessica Simpson's Movie is Simply Horrible!

It seems singer/actress Jessica Simpson upcoming flick 'Blonde Ambition' is not very appealing for the silver screen, for it will reportedly go straight to the DVDs.
According to a source, the film is 'horrible' because of the acting of the 29-year-old who has made her debut in a leading role in the film.
"It's just a bomb, mainly because of Jessica's acting," Us Weekly quoted the source, as saying.
"The movie is absolutely horrible. It is going straight to DVD domestically. It will only come out in theatres internationally," the source said.
However, Simpson's rep has denied these reports.
"It's definitely a theatrical release," the rep said.
Meanwhile a rep for the movie studio insisted that no distribution plans have been finalised yet.
"The final distribution plans have not been confirmed, so it would be premature to comment at this time," the rep said.
The film is inspired by the theme of Academy Award-winning movie 'Working Girl'.
The official trailer for the movie leaked to the internet on early May, 2007.

Jessica Simpson’s Swimwear Line Launches

Jessica Simpson launched her new swimwear line at the “Mercedes Benz Fashion Week: Miami Swim” in Miami Beach, Florida. There are a ton of pictures showing the complete line over at Girls Talking Smack. I really like the majority of her suits (not that I have any chance of wearing a bikini again!) Did someone say mumu? :)

Jessica Simpson Talks Plastic Surgery In Harper’s Bazaar

jessica Simpson scores the cover of the August issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine. Here’s some highlights from the issue where she discusses getting plastic surgery, her movie role and her famous sexy curves:

On plastic surgery:
“I’ve had none,” she says in the August issue of Bazaar. “But maybe after having kids, if my boobs dropped down to my belly button, I would get them lifted. … Maintenance. But you know, my boobs are real.”
Right now, however, she’s fine with her looks. “I love the bump in my nose,” she says. “People have said that I’ve had things like a jaw replacement or implant or something. I’m photographed every day of my life and have never worn any bandages or anything, so how could that be right?”

On preparing for her movie role:
One thing that has changed is her body, as she prepares to join the Marines in her upcoming movie, Major Movie Star. “I’ve started with a trainer, Harley Pasternak,” she says. “He’s given me a butt, because I have white-girl syndrome. I have to do as many squats as I can to get a little booty. … I have to be [diligent]. I’m a curvy girl. You don’t want to see me not working out.”

On her curves:
But she’s fine with her curves – and she thinks guys are too. She recalls attending a recent fashion party with her friend and hairstylist Ken Pavés and asking him, “Do you think the guys in here are all really looking at all those skinny girls and thinking, Wow, I want to get with her? Or are they looking at the girls with the curves and thinking, Yeah, I want to get with her!”
Simpson, for one, knows where she stands. “Curves are better,” she says. “I don’t get the whole rail thing. It’s not good for your heart, it’s not good for your mind; it’s emotionally destructive, it really is.”
