Don’t Shoot The Messager (Ne Tirez Pas Le Messager)

I see children with their eyes scratched out.
I see angel’s wings and shrunken heads and BDSM.
Discarded yarn and woolen viscera. Please do not touch.
I see a flock of dead sparrows, arranged in lines
and embalmed in crocheted doll’s clothing.
I see Caribbean sunsets, chimeras, and stigmata.
I see roadkill in a baby’s nursery.
I see a Disney Store abattoir shop-window.
Fermentation. Emancipation. Genocide. Chiromancy.
Little Annie Messager is a Trickster. A Phoney. An Art Brut.
A Collector of oblique artifacts. A curator of curious Peep-shows.
I see me some sugar. I see me some spice.
I see me an unshaven Mound of Venus
and this cold hard rain against the windows.

British model Jodie Marsh’s new avatar

British model Jodie Marsh has switched glamour modeling for bodybuilding. The 30 year-old model, who has 32E surgically-enhanced boobs, has gone from a size 12 to a size 6/8 and credits her training for her new look.

Jodie Marsh said: "I started training with a personal trainer called Tim last December in my local gym. At first I just wanted to lose weight and tone up - I was soft all over. But within two weeks, I had definition in my stomach. As I saw my body changing, I really liked my muscles and as Tim is a bodybuilder, it just went from there".

The stunner loves her new body so much that she's considering going into competition. Her routine consists of a daily three-mile cross-country walk with her dog. "I've still got loads (of weight) to go. I might do a bodybuilder competition in future and if so, I've got another 7lbs of fat to lose to be pure muscle. It's something I'm working towards," she said

And, Jodi says: ‘sex and dancing in nightclubs’. She also works out at the gym with her trainer two to three times a week, using a Swiss ball and doing free weights for an hour in total. And she may even compete on the bodybuilder circuit in the future.

Drag Me to Hell Film Review

Director: Sam Raimi
Producer: Grant Curtis, Joshua Donen, Joseph Drake, Nathan Kahane, Sam Raimi, Robert G. Tapert
Written by: Ivan Raimi, Sam Raimi
Cast: Alison Lohman, Justin Long, Lorna Raver, David Paymer
Music: Christopher Young
Cinematography Peter Deming
Editing: Bob Murawski
Release date: May 29, 2009

After the critical trouncing that was Spider-Man 3 (it was a box office success admittedly), director Sam Raimi returns to his horror roots with Drag Me to Hell. This film is over-the-top, campy, relies on cheap thrills, and is never dull. Translation: I loved it. It's a welcome return to the genre that made Raimi a cult director, and it has everything in it that I wanted to see.

Loan officer Christine Brown (Alison Lohman) really wants the Assistant Manager position at the bank, but her boss Mr. Jacks (David Paymer) wants her to show how she can make tough decisions. Unfortunately, that means declining a third mortgage extension to the infirm Mrs. Ganush (Lorna Raver), who - after feeling shamed in public - attacks her in the parking garage and puts a curse on Christine.

Shaken from the attack, Christine is comforted by her psychology professor boyfriend Clay (Justin Long), she starts to see visions of the Gypsy woman everywhere, and to regain her sanity, decides to get her fortune told by psychic Rham Jas (Dileep Rao). Unfortunately, he informs her that she has indeed been cursed - and in three days, the "Lamia" will take her soul to hell, for eternal damnation. Determined not to let that happen, Christine does anything she can to prevent being dragged to hell.

Raimi fills the film with lots of winks and nods to his previous Evil Dead films. From the Oldsmobile Delta Royale's appearance, to the trademarked whip-zooms and dutch angles, Raimi fans will be delighted by the presentation. No stranger to liquids spewing from people's mouths, Raimi pushes Loman through the gauntlet, making her suffer through all manner of vile blood, goo, mud, and even embalming fluid. It is PG-13, so it's not as violent as one would expect from Raimi, but there are a few sequences that push the bounds of the rating. Make-up effects are solid, and the CGI is less so, but there are enough cheap and obvious scares that work well enough to make the audience jump in their seats at least a few times.

The acting is hardly noteworthy - lots of scenes suffer from cheesy dialog - but the story is simple in premise and crisp in execution. Lorna Raver is a delight to watch and dominates every scene she is in. Christopher Young's intentionally over-the-top score is a total blast, with a recurring eastern European violin motif that will linger long after the film ends.

Overall:
Drag Me to Hell is hardly a masterpiece of cinema, but it is leagues ahead of the bloated and painful Spider-Man 3, and shows that Raimi can still deliver a fun cinematic ride.

Pamela Anderson shows her eminent curves in pink bikini

There are four things you can expect at the beach: sand, water, bikinis, and Pamela Anerson's boobs. She might be aging in years but that hardly seems to be keeping Pamela Anderson from flaunting her busty curves. The stunning showgirl, who has been known for her huge set of assets, flashed her curvaceous figure in a tiny winy pink bikini.

She shot to fame with her role as a sexy lifeguard in TV show 'Baywatch' but after 16 years and two children, Pamela Anderson has proved that she still has a figure to die for.
The former Playboy model, who caught everybody's attention by playing lifeguard CJ Parker dressed in red swimsuit, was in Malibu's beach yesterday, flaunting her famous curves in a pink bikini.

The 41-year-old boob babe flaunts her surgically enhanced figure with her slender legs, bronze tan, and a washboard stomach that catapulted her to fame.

Anderson was spotted having a good time with her electrician boyfriend Jamie Padgett at the beach. After three failed marriages and countless break-ups behind her, Anderson seemed totally smitten with her new love interest.

Alejandro Amenabar’s historic movie ‘Agora’

The historical drama film ‘Agora’ starring Oscar-winning actress Rachel Weisz and Max Minghella in the lead roles is directed by Alejandro Amenabar.

The story revolves around astrologer-philosopher Hypatia of Alexandria and her relationship with her slave Davus (Minghella). The film is set in Alexandria in Egypt takes place in period of turmoil where Christianism has been progressively overriding the former belief system.

Rachel Weisz is playing the role of astrologer-philosopher Hypatia of Alexandria, who fights to save the collected wisdom of the ancient world. The film ‘Agora’ is also stars Rupert Evans, Michael Lonsdale, and Homayoun Ershadi. The movie will be released on December 18, 2009.

The real Hypatia of Alexandria was a Greek scholar from Alexandria in Egypt, considered the first notable woman in mathematics, who also taught philosophy and astronomy. She lived in Roman Egypt, and was killed by a Coptic Christian mob who blamed her for religious turmoil. She has been hailed as a "valiant defender of science against religion", and some suggest that her murder marked the end of the Hellenistic Age.
