Lindsay Lohan officially booked

Lindsay Lohan was formally arrested by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department on Thursday. The Mean Girls star quietly walked into the Beverly Hills PD station on Thursday afternoon to be officially arrested for a drunken driving incident in May.
The official Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department website said Lohan was held in custody for about an hour, until she was released on a bail of $30,000 (Rs 12.09 lakh). Sources told TMZ that this was simply a routine process, as often times people arrested for driving under influence are simply cited and released.
The actress was released on her own recognisance, routine for a first time driving under influence offence. For now, Lohan is scheduled to be back in court on August 24.
