Eric Brevig to direct ‘Yogi Bear’ film
Eric Brevig is set to direct the big-screen version of the popular Hanna-Barbera classic cartoon "Yogi Bear." Warner Brothers' is producing the film. Joshua Sternin and Jeffrey Ventimilia are writing the script for this film.
The film will be a mix of CGI and live-action, much in the same way as the recent “Alvin and the Chipmunks.” Yogi Bear first appeared in “The Huckleberry Hound Show” before getting his own show in 1961.
Brevig made his directorial debut recently with "Journey to the Center of the Earth." He also worked as visual effects supervisor for the films like "Men in Black" and "The Day After Tomorrow."
