Jessica Simpson engaged

Way to steal their thunder...  Just days after Nick Lachey announced his engagement to Vanessa Minnillo, his ex-wife Jessica Simpson has announced she's getting remarried too.  Well isn't that convenient?



But the difference in these two couples is that Jessica has been dating retired NFL player Eric Johnson for like 5 or 6 months... and that's not the only sketchy thing in their relationship.  He only JUST got divorced him his wife of 5-years like 10 minutes ago and early on in his relationship with Simps, he was rumored to be using her for her money and fame.



And then there's the part where PopEater reports Jessica, who's worth $100 million, doesn't want to sign a prenup.  Again.



The last time the singer/"actress" was divorced, she had to give $10 million of her money to her former 98 Degrees singer husb, who clearly wasn't going to find success on his own with a solo career or as the host of whatever lame ass show he hosts... The Singoff.  I just Googled it.  Yeah, it's no Don't Forget The Lyrics I'll tell you that.



So you'd think Jess learned her lesson right?  But no.  And if she thinks Eric Johnson is going to somehow start making money for himself in the future... uhhh... think again.  He has you now.  Why would he?  Let's just hope they hold off on the wedding for a year or two... or seven.
