Ja Rule sentenced to 2 years in jail

Ja Rule will serve 2 years in jail after he pled guilty to a felony weapons charge today.  Sad.  Way to kick a guy when he's down...

According to TMZ, it all goes back to a traffic stop in 2007 where police found the raspy-voiced rapper to be in possession of a semiautomatic gun, which he tried to hide.



A date hasn't been scheduled for Ja to report to the slammer yet so he will remain free until then.  However, when it IS time for him to be behind bars, you know he won't be late...
