Which has unfortunately just been delayed until a couple of weeks after my 31st. :mad: Other than that, I'm getting myself a 27" Cinema Display. What I would like is a really nice knife block and set of decent chef's knives.

Yes. I am sure the number 3-25 top selling smartphones all have hardware keyboards.
The 1 and 2 are both Apple iPhones and they don't have them though.
I suspect the sales figures of the iPhone 4 and 3GS probably surpass the top 8-10 Android devices combined.
That is called marketplace domination. Clearly a lot of people here don't have much business experience or understand how business works, but such control of a marketplace is significant, especially given the number of devices available for sale.

Finally, a quad core desktop class machine (in processors only I suppose) with ample I/O and a decent . . . . for Apple . . . . price.
Shocked that Apple would give us TWO TBolt ports on the 27" with quad core across the line.
The $1700 has my cheap side tingling but my professional side is telling me to wait for a Mac Pro update so I can at least consider a machine I can expand myself.
On the plus side, that 21.5" is not a bad machine for the price.

I want 24GB of RAM for my Mac Pro; I think that's the only thing I actually need since 12GB isn't enough all the time.
I would also like a Burton Nug snowboard. This one will probably happen.

I don't see them enlarging the screen by a mere .2" it seems illogical to me. Plus the mock up really sucks lol surely Apple would come up with something much more appealing then this. My money is on the iPhone 5 to be nearly identical to the iPhone 4 except with better insides :)

Nice idea and interesting. best bet would be a collaboration with Panasonic. After all since Pioneer stopped production of the best flast screen TVs ever and Panasonic employing those engineers who got laid of from Pioneer, their new 2011 panels are simply the best platform for it. if they put it into a Samsung or alike then no thanks. panny s are reasonably priced.
I could see something like that where Apple TV and games are integrated into a high-end set. Would love for someone to own this space and clean up all of these damn black boxes. Of course, they may have to cave in use Blu-Ray somehow.

I'm hoping the MobileMe revamp means that some parts of the current service become free while things like this Music Cloud thing are part of the paid MobileMe.
This would mean that, as a paying subscriber I wouldn't need to pay extra for the Cloud Service since I'm already paying for the full MobileMe vs the free one with less features.
Whether it's the same yearly price or a reduced one would be cool, but if it's more expensive (I don't see why it would be if some basic features become free) then it wouldn't be worth it unless they add some new really awesome features to fill in the gap that the free parts would leave.

USB 2.0 is definitely not fast enough to saturate a hard drives speed, it's very limiting.
Firewire 800 isn't fast enough to saturate multi-drive RAIDs, either.
I'm really looking forward to Mac minis with Thunderbolt. Hook them up to some nice 4+ drive external RAIDs with Thunderbolt and I can replace a bunch of aging Xserves and PowerMac G5 servers with much smaller and much faster replacements.

We need a 24" screen size, or something close to it.
21 to 27".....there's too much of a jump. 21" is too small for many and 27" may be too large.
23-25" is the sweet spot.

They'll likely time it to match the release of the sprint iphone.
Why make another SKU (or 4 for that matter). Just add another band to the GSM chip. They added a band just for the jp market, so why not the same thing here?
