Harry Potter star Emma Watson has been voted as style icon at the Elle Style Awards in London's Great Connaught Rooms.Watson, 20, had a bare mini dress with daring cutaway sides to bash, and was presented with Style Icon gong by the designer Vivienne Westwood.The young star said she was overwhelmed to be called a "style icon" and tried not to focus on her style copied by young girls."It feels fantastic. Fashion is something that I love. I try not to think about it too much. I try and block everything out and I just do what I love and just have fun with it, " the Daily Mail quoted her say.

New official posters of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’ is an upcoming fantasy-adventure film starring Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson in the lead roles is directed by British filmmaker David Yates, of ‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix’. The movie is based on the novel by J. K. Rowling and is the sixth book in J.K. Rowling's enormously popular Harry Potter films series. David Heyman and David Barron are producing the film. The script was written by Steve Kloves of Sorcerer's Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban, and Goblet of Fire.

The flick also stars Michael Gambon, Jim Broadbent, Alan Rickman, Tom Felton and Helen McCrory. Warner Brothers's is distributing the film and is set to release in U.K. and U.S. simultaneously on July 17th, 2009.

The movie "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" will follow Harry Potter in his sixth year at Hogwarts during which the ever growing threat to the wizarding world by the evil dark wizard Lord Voldemort grows even stronger by day. Being the only one who has survived his attack, Harry accompanied by his two loyal friends, Ron and Hermione, prepares for the ultimate battle while the walls that used to keep him and his friends away from danger may not be a safe haven anymore.

Emma Watson wants to get naked like Daniel

Harry Potter star Emma Watson wants to follow in Daniel Radcliffe’s footsteps by dropping her clothes.

The 17-year old Brit, who late last month was voted her country’s ‘Greatest Female Ambassador’ in a poll conducted by Top of the Pops magazine, said that she was hoping that she too would get the chance to drop her nice girl image by shedding her clothes – especially after seeing Radcliffe’s performance in Equus.
"I'd like to think I would (do that). Not that I want to get naked, but I hope that something like that will come along. That's the plan anyway," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.
Watson, who plays the muggle-born witch Hermione in the hit movie adaptations of the JK Rowling’s Harry Potter series, will now be seen on the big screen in the fifth Potter flick, ‘The Order of the Phoenix’.
The actress recently admitted that when she auditioned for the first film as a 10-year-old, she had no idea that the franchise would make her so rich.
Watson, who now earns a reported 4 million dollars for each Harry Potter film, insisted that though she has enough money to retire for life, she doesn’t want to stop working.
