Bardem has been awarded an Oscar, a Golden Globe, a Screen Actors Guild Award, a BAFTA, four Goya awards, two European Film Awards, an award for best actor in Cannes and two Coppa Volpis in Venice for his work. He is the first Spaniard to be nominated for an Oscar and the first to win an acting Oscar, rather than in the Foreign Language Film category. He received his third Oscar nomination, and the second best actor nomination for the film, Biutiful.

Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem have become first-time parents to a future male model born over the weekend.

Hola.com was the first to break the news, but the report is in Spanish so I have no idea what it says.  However, US Weekly confirms the Oscar-winning married couple had a boy.  His name has not been released.  But you know it won't be Norman, Gary, or Al.
