Proof that I live in a city full of idiots: Poll: Majority Of Weiner’s Constituents Think he Should Stay In Office

I don’t know what to say other than my fellow New Yorkers deserve what they get. These are the same mental giants that voted like sheep and sent Hillary Clinton to the Senate.

God save me from these morons!

TPM

While lawmakers from Rep. Anthony Weiner's (D-NY) own party have now begun to call for his resignation, a Marist poll released Thursday night finds that his constituents think he should stay.

In the poll, 56% of registered voters in Weiner's NY-9 district think he should remain in office, while only a third (33%) think he should resign. That result comes as further salacious details about the Twitter scandal have come to light.

However, voters are as yet undecided on whether they'll support Weiner when he's up for reeleciton in 2012. thirty percent of respondents said they'd definitely vote for him next year, compared to 31% who said they would definitely not. A 38% plurality said it was too early to say for sure who they'll vote for in the next election cycle.

The Newt Gingrich campaign implosion

I’m not unhappy that this has happened to Newt one bit. He dug his grave as far as I’m concerned when he trash Paul Ryan’s budget.

Let’s face it, a lot of conservatives have turned their backs on Newt anyway going back to his stance on NY26.

He had a fork in his back for months. Besides, going on a 2 week cruise after declaring himself a candidate doesn't show much fire in the belly.

Politico

Newt Gingrich’s top staff quit en masse Thursday, throwing into question whether his already troubled presidential campaign can continue.

Two sources close to the situation confirmed that campaign manager Rob Johnson, strategists Sam Dawson and Dave Carney, spokesman Rick Tyler, and consultants Katon Dawson in South Carolina and Craig Schoenfeld in Iowa have all quit to protest what one called a "different vision" for the campaign.

The sources said Gingrich was staying in the race.

The mass resignation was, one source said, “a team decision.”

“We just had a different direction in which we wanted to take the campaign,” said a second source.

Gingrich was intent on using technology and standing out at debates to get traction while his advisers believed he needed to run a campaign that incorporated both traditional, grassroots techniques as well as new ideas.

One official said the last straw came when Gingrich went forward with taking a long-planned cruise with his wife last week in the Greek isles.

Herman Cain To CBS News: Homosexuality Is ‘A Sin’ And ‘A Choice’

Once again Cain is on point!

Homosexuality is most definitely a sin and a chosen lifestyle that is immoral.

CBS

In an interview Wednesday with CBS News, Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain described homosexuality as “a sin” and “a choice.” Appearing on the CBS News web program Washington Unplugged, Cain told CBSNews.com senior political reporter Brian Montopoli “I believe homosexuality is a sin because I’m a Bible-believing Christian, I believe it’s a sin,” he said. “But I know that some people make that choice. That’s their choice.”

Democrats ready for full-court press to push Weiner into resigning; Update: “Dug in”

The Democrats are in full CYA mode!

The want Weiner to take his prick and go home. But, Tony is stiff to the resistance. He doesn’t have any friends on The Hill other than the loons in his congressional district.

Hot Air

How do we know that the heat is rising on Anthony Weiner? The New York Times reports that Democrats are not going to take no for an answer to their demands for Weiner’s resignation. Weiner’s hometown paper notes that the demands for an end to Weiner’s presence in Congress began yesterday with a key ally of Nancy Pelosi, Rep. Allyson Schwartz, and that sent a signal to the rank and file to follow suit:

The first — and most notable — call for Mr. Weiner’s resignation came on Wednesday afternoon from Representative Allyson Y. Schwartz, Democrat of Pennsylvania, a Pelosi ally who is overseeing the recruitment of the party’s candidates for the 2012 election cycle.

Pelosi called for an ethics investigation into Weiner’s activities within minutes of his confessional press conference. That could have been seen as either a message to Weiner or as a way to clear the air and corroborate his position that he did not use government resources on his sexting spree. Schwartz’ demand makes it clear that Pelosi intended the former rather than the latter, and her caucus quickly responded:

MSNBC Host If There is Civil Unrest Because Of Unemployment It‘s Totally The GOP’s Fault

MSNBC is being MSNBC, that is always blaming the GOP for everything while licking Obama’s ass all day long!

Think of the economy like this famous scene from Animal House.

Obama approval rating falls below 50 percent

The Tiffany network has finally come clean!

President Obama is extremely beatable in this upcoming election. It’s not even close with economic numbers this bad. And it’s all due to his own job killing policies. The man doesn’t know any better because he’s strictly an academic that doesn’t know how the real world works.

So no amount of speeches will help him dig out of his own mess.

CBS News

President Obama's approval ratings fell to below 50 percent for the first time since his ratings spiked following the news of the death of Osama bin Laden last month, according to a CBS News poll released on Wednesday.

Just 48 percent of respondents approve of the way he is doing his job, compared to a 57 percent in the days immediately following news of bin Laden's demise.
Obama's approval numbers hovered in the range below 50 percent for most of the past year, though they spiked after the early May announcement that a team of elite Navy SEALs had captured and killed the al Qaeda.

About 79 percent of the poll respondents said the economy is in bad shape, essentially unchanged from April but higher than the 74 percent who reported the condition of economy as poor in January.

Perhaps more disturbing for the White House is that about a third of the people think the economy is headed in the wrong direction.

The U.S. economy added just 54,000 jobs in May, the fewest number of new workers in eight months. And the unemployment rate rose to 9.1 percent from 9.0 percent in April. No president has been re-elected since Franklin Roosevent when unemployment was above 7.2 percent.

Traci Nobles another Weiner sextee emerges - and may have hooked up

What a day in the never ending saga of the prick congressman from New York.

First his penis is exposed all over the ‘net. Then news comes out that his wife is pregnant. And to top it all off, a new cyberbimbo comes forward leaving some hints that she may have met up with the disgraced Weiner.

Like I said yesterday, if he won’t resign, it’s death by 1,000 cuts.

Daily Mail

Shamed congressman Anthony Weiner suffered yet another blow this evening when another woman went public about an elicit online relationship with the politician.

Young blonde PE teacher Traci Nobles received flirty messages from the politician in August last year, in which he referred to her as 'sugar'.

There is also the suggestion in one of the messages that the pair may have met in person, something the congressman has claimed he never did.

The latest shocking revelation comes on day it emerged the congressman's wife, Huma Abedin, is pregnant - and on the same day an X-rated picture of his penis went viral on Twitter.

34-year-old Nobles, from Athens in Georgia, received a message from Weiner on Facebook, in which he wrote: 'u too baby tomorrow for syre (sic)'.

She replied: 'Sup sexy', to which he responded: 'Hey sugar'.

In a photograph of the message that is not very clear, she is seen to respond that she is just leaving work before writing the word 'beer'.

It is not clear whether she is referring to the pair meeting up for a drink, or whether she is simply discussing her own plans to go out, but it raises the possibility that a liaison in person could have been arranged.

Miss Nobles is the latest to emerge of the six women with whom Weiner admitted to having conducted online relationships.

Hollywood Writer David Mamet Describes ‘Coming Out’ As a Conservative

Liberals are so upset that David Mamet has left the reservation of Liberalism. But, this is what happens when America elects a flat out socialist as president—it creates more conservatives.

Thank you, Barack Obama!

Welcome home, David!

The Blaze

A-list director and writer David Mamet is an Oscar and a Tony Award-nominee and a Pulitzer-Prize winner. A true rarity, this successful Hollywood screenwriter has “come out” (as Fox put it) as a political conservative. This, of course, can be tough in a world that is dominated by left-leaning minds.
In an interview with FOX News, Mamet discusses why he stopped embracing liberalism. He chats about Hollywood’s “herd mentality” and says that “…the essence of liberalism as I understand it, in its aspect of being a religion, is that you have to protect the lie.”

Anthony Weiner’s Cock Shot Emerges

I was hesitant on doing this. But, since I’ve been on this story since the beginning….

Gawker

Nobody really expected the week to end without Anthony Weiner's penis splashed all over the internet. And here it is: Andrew Breitbart showed a couple of radio DJs a picture of what is likely Anthony Weiner's dick, then they leaked it on Twitter.

The picture comes courtesy of Sirus XM shock jocks Opie and Anthony, who had Breitbart on his show. Breitbart has said he wouldn't release the picture because "I don't think I want to put his family through that type of thing." But since Breitbart is a liar and keeps his Weiner cock shot on his person at all times (wouldn't you?), he shared it with the guys on his phone. Then they took their own snapshot and put it on Twitter. A meta leak, if you will.

John Liu, not fit to continue as NYC Comptroller

In the wake of a New York politician that likes to send pictures of his private parts to young girls over the internet, comes a tale of another miserable disgrace to his office-John Liu NYC Comptroller.

No, John hasn’t engaged in any sexual misconduct, at least anything that has been made public. His misdeeds lie in his arrogant character and warped sense of himself. At the very first meeting of his staff he insisted that they rise to their feet whenever he enters a room and address him as, “Mr. Comptroller”.

That was an early warning sign that Liu has some series self esteem issues.

But, more importantly what Liu has demonstrated to the voters of New York City is that he’s a whore for the public sector unions.

Arrogant, deranged, and possibly psychotic, Liu is not fit to hold public office any longer.

You’ve been warned!

New York Post Editorial

Out of comptrol

There he goes again.

City Comptroller John Liu, once again carrying water for a municipal union, is trying to ban management firms that work with city pension funds from publicly disagreeing with him or the police union.

That is, Liu seeks to harness the muscle of the pension funds he helps oversee to stifle criticism of him, the pension funds or the unions.

It's an outrage, even if it is par for the public-be-damned, unions-come-first policies that he adopted upon taking office 18 months ago.

Liu wants to let fund trustees fire a manager who, in their "sole determination," causes them "to receive materially adverse publicity" or "affects [their] reputation."

R Translation: If you want to do business with New York's municipal pension funds, you dummy up or you go away -- no matter what's best for the funds themselves.
Clearly Liu doesn't give a fig about hiring the best outside pension managers -- those who will maximize investment returns at the lowest cost to the city.

The Bloomberg administration is simply flabbergasted.
"The only impact of the [policy] would be to encourage the firing of effective managers for their public comments," Finance Commissioner David Frankel wrote pension-fund trustees.

"Such action could sacrifice the much-needed investment returns of [pension funds] in an attempt to use [fund] assets as leverage in public debate," he said.

That's one way of looking at it. Here's another: Liu, et al., want to use the funds as a bludgeon not for "leverage," but to kill public debate altogether.
Bloomberg officials fiercely opposed the plan at a "spirited" trustees meeting yesterday, a City Hall aide said.

Liu's office, meanwhile, denied drafting the language, saying only that it's "part of an ongoing contract negotiation between the manager and the Pension Board."

Please: Everyone knows the comptroller hammers out those contracts.
Nor is this the first time Liu has sought to dictate public speech.

In January, he scrapped a meeting with the investment managers Blackstone Group after its chief strategist stated the obvious -- that public-employee pension benefits are unsustainably high.

As the city's chief fiscal watchdog, Liu is supposed to protect taxpayers. But like the fox guarding the hen-house, he sees his job instead as a chance to rob them -- and use their cash to help his union pals.

Clearly this guy needs to be restrained.

Weiner Told Porn Star to Lie, Offered PR Help

As long as Anthony Weiner is arrogant enough to think he can remain a U.S. congressman, then it’s going to be death by 1,000 cuts.

NYS Sen Eric Adams is a traitor to his race for siding with UFT lawsuit

My African American community, when will you learn that the Democrat Party don’t care about what’s best for your kids?

A low down snake in the grass African American state senator has turned his back on his own people by siding with his masters in the powerful teacher’s, the United Federation of Teachers (UFT) on a lawsuit to stop the expansion of charter schools that offer better education for children that look like him.

This is absolutely shameful, but I’m not shocked because Adams gets piles of money from the UFT and that’s more important than what’s best for the kids.

Until the African American community reaches a level of political maturity that realizes their vote for the Democrat Party WILL NOT be automatic, they’ll invite this type of betrayal from now until Kingdom come.

Wake the fuck up, my brothers and sisters!

New York Post

Brooklyn state Sen. Eric Adams gets an "F" -- for flip-flopping on charter schools, betrayed parents charge.

Adams enthusiastically voted last May to let the number of charters in the state dramatically increase from 200 to 460 -- winning praise from charter-school advocates.

But he stunned parents last month when he signed on as a co-plaintiff to a lawsuit filed by the United Federation of Teachers that would block the opening or expansion of 20 charters in public school buildings.

The NAACP also is a party to the suit.

"It doesn't make sense. It's a slap in the face. It's hypocritical and back-stabbing," said Brooklyn parent Oneka Hope, whose son, Aubrey, is a first-grader at Empower charter school in Crown

His political supporters also feel jilted.

Adams' re-election bid was endorsed last year by the pro-charter group Democrats for Education Reform. The group's donors also pumped thousands of dollars into his campaign kitty.

"People see this as throwing families and students under the bus to participate in the teachers union's cynical chess game [to block charters]," said DFER director Joe Williams.

Adams declined e-mail and phone requests for comment.

Charter backers also claim the incestuous relationship between the UFT and the NAACP has compromised the civil-rights group's integrity on education issues.

The NAACP has received $120,000 in donations from the UFT and its statewide affiliate, the New York State United Teachers, since 2008, financial reports show.

Weiner Used Jewish Sexual Stereotype To Facebook Sexting Partner

Does this mean Jews will stop voting democrat?

Radar Online

Rep. Anthony Weiner used an unflattering Jewish sexual stereotype during another Facebook sexting session with a middle-aged woman, RadarOnline.com and Star magazine are exclusively reporting in a joint newsgathering operation.

In a salacious new transcript of a conversation the embattled Democrat had with the woman, who lives in Nevada but does not want to be identified, the shamed politico asked whether his social networking pen pal gave “good” oral sex.

“You give good head?” the embattled and married New York congressman asked the woman on March 16, this year.

She responded: “I’ve been told really good...and i love doing it.”

At that point, 46-year-old Weiner declared: “wow a jewish girl who sucks (bleep)! this thing is ready to do damage.”

Experts back Sarah Palin’s historical account on Paul Revere

It has been made clear time after time, that the same media that perpetuated a fraud by passing off a community organizer from the Southside of Chicago as suitable for the presidency is the folks out to get Sarah Palin at all costs.

Once again they have been made to look like fools thinking that had a “gotcha” on Palin when she said Paul Revere warned the British. Well, it turns out that she knows more American history than all of them combined.

When will these Leftists ever learn?

Boston Globe

Sarah Palin yesterday insisted her claim at the Old North Church last week that Paul Revere “warned the British” during his famed 1775 ride — remarks that Democrats and the media roundly ridiculed — is actually historically accurate. And local historians are backing her up.

Palin prompted howls of partisan derision when she said on Boston’s Freedom Trail that Revere “warned the British that they weren’t going to be taking away our arms by ringing those bells and making sure as he’s riding his horse through town to send those warning shots and bells that we were going to be secure and we were going to be free.”

Palin insisted yesterday on Fox News Sunday she was right: “Part of his ride was to warn the British that were already there. That, hey, you’re not going to succeed. You’re not going to take American arms.”

In fact, Revere’s own account of the ride in a 1798 letter seems to back up Palin’s claim. Revere describes how after his capture by British officers, he warned them “there would be five hundred Americans there in a short time for I had alarmed the Country all the way up.

Boston University history professor Brendan McConville said, “Basically when Paul Revere was stopped by the British, he did say to them, ‘Look, there is a mobilization going on that you’ll be confronting,’ and the British are aware as they’re marching down the countryside, they hear church bells ringing — she was right about that — and warning shots being fired. That’s accurate.”

Meagan Broussard tells her story about Anthony Weiner

Anthony Weiner needs professional at least and has no busness being a U.S. congressman anymore.

Big Government.com

My name is Meagan Broussard. I am 26 years old. I served in the U.S. Army, and I am a full-time college student and a single mom.

I admired Rep. Anthony Weiner because I had seen a video of him standing up for the 9/11 responders. It was a rant, but he came across as someone very passionate, someone who cares about what he believes in. I didn’t know much more about him.

On April 20, I clicked on his Facebook page that I “liked” a video of Rep. Weiner addressing a gathering of construction workers in Washington, DC. I commented that it was “hot.” That’s the only way I came into contact with him at first.

From there, he introduced himself to me over Facebook Chat. Within an hour, we were sending messages back and forth. It became an everyday correspondence.

We chatted often, but I wasn’t always available. It was “Hello, how are you doing, where are you going,” that kind of thing. Sometimes, it was more personal. I don’t want to get deeply into all of that.

I don’t want to portray him as a horrible person because I just don’t know him.
I was contacted and asked to tell my story. I finally came forward last week because I saw on television that Rep. Weiner had hired an investigating firm to go through all of his files. I worried that there would be people looking at my pictures and messages. I was nervous, but decided that since my messages with Rep. Weiner were going to come out anyway, I wanted to tell my own story rather than have other people talking about me when they didn’t know anything.

I’m not on a crusade to “take him down.” I just acted to protect myself and my family.

I have nothing against Rep. Weiner. I think he was intrigued by me because I am different than the people he normally meets. I don’t know why he opened up to me in certain ways, but that’s the best explanation I have.
He was trying to get me to talk about myself sexually, and I said, straight up, I’m not an open book. I was real blunt. He would ask me weird things, like “Did you miss me?” I didn’t understand that–how could I miss someone I hadn’t met and didn’t know? What is there to miss about me if you don’t even know me?

He said that he was an open book, maybe way too open. And after that he said to me that I was “too fucking real,” not like other people who were all over him. He realized that I wasn’t taking the bait, and I think that intrigued him enough to send messages to me and open up to me and try to be real, too.

At first I was skeptical that I was really talking to Rep. Weiner, so I asked him to take a picture of himself, which he did. Then I asked him to pick up the phone and call me. I had to hang up because of something that was happening on my end, but then I called back and heard a voice saying, “Congressman Anthony Weiner’s office,” so I hung up. He asked me if I was satisfied, and I guess I was–I didn’t pursue that any more.

Talking to him was sometimes a turn-off because he was so open and just so full of himself, as if he were looking, searching for something. I don’t know if he loved telling me his personal business. I didn’t want him to say more, didn’t want to hear stories about sex with famous people. But I guess he needed to express himself.

All of this still makes me really nervous. I live in a small town. I don’t want this and all the anxiety that comes with it. I was worried that all of my personal messages and photos were going to come out, and so I came forward. I just hope to be left in peace.

Rep. Anthony Weiner: 'The Picture Was of Me and I Sent It'

Weiner, still arrogant in confession to sexting and phone sex with half dozen women. He won’t resign

In a performance worthy of the combined talents of Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino, and Dustin Hoffman, married New York congressional Democrat, Anthony “I got hacked” Weiner, confessed to everything concerning the details surrounding Weinergate.

For the past 11 days, the tattered web of lies he tried to continue to spin began to wrap itself around his neck as more and more evidence came to light that he lied about sending a crotch shot of himself to a Seattle coed half his age.

But, like the late-night infomercial says, “But, wait there’s more…”

ABC News

Rep. Anthony Weiner of New York said today he has engaged in "several inappropriate" electronic relationships with six women over three years, and that he publicly lied about a photo of himself sent over Twitter to a college student in Seattle over a week ago.
"I take full responsibility for my actions," Weiner said. "The picture was of me, and I sent it."

The announcement came as ABC News prepared to release an interview with Meagan Broussard, a 26-year-old single mother from Texas who provided dozens of photos, emails, Facebook messages and cell phone call logs that she says chronicle a sexually-charged electronic relationship with Weiner that rapidly-evolved for more than a month, starting on April 20, 2011.

ABC News reached out to Weiner earlier today for comment about his possible ties to Broussard, but he did not respond to requests for an interview. At a press conference later, Weiner confirmed Broussard was one of the women with whom he sexted.

Broussard's story had threatened to expose the secret online life of one of the House Democrats' most popular members, and a man many considered a leading candidate for mayor of New York City.

It also raised new questions about Weiner's explanation for how a photo of a man's groin area ended up on his public Twitter feed on May 27. Today the congressman said he accidentally sent the image to a woman, Gennette Cordova, who was following him on Twitter, as a joke.

More Weiner Messages to Young Girls? Evidence the Media Was Duped into Dropping the Investigation

Patterico does some good work removing more layers of the onion into Weinergate. The longer he remains in congress, the more revelations will come to light.

I think more gals will come forward and tell some interesting tales.

Patterico

There are new reasons to question whether Rep. Anthony Weiner sent DMs to young girls besides Gennette Nicole — and whether he sent Nicole more flirtatious DMs than just that one picture.

The other day, Tommy Christopher published an interesting article regarding two underage girls who had claimed to have incriminating DMs from Anthony Weiner. Christopher called the girls “Betty” and “Veronica” and said that they had admitted to him that they had lied. That may be . . . but there are some aspects of their claims (and those of their parents) that I think merit some examination.

In short, certain aspects of their claims sound fishy, and/or contradict other pieces of evidence that I have learned about. For example, one of the girls says in her statement that Weiner unfollowed her as a favor, to stop the harassment she was experiencing from Mike Stack aka goatsred, and Dan Wolfe aka PatriotUSA76.

That is not what she was saying at the time. At the time, she was angry at Weiner for unfollowing her. The details of this are set forth below.

Christopher’s piece needs to be questioned. There is evidence that what the girls are saying now is not true. Which could mean that what they were telling Stack at the time — that they had compromising DMs from Weiner — was true.
