Selena Gomez returns to the small screen tonight and everything is not as it seems when the new season of "Wizards of Waverly Place" premieres. Now, ET talks to the 18-year-old star about being a part of the wizarding world, dating and avoiding the pitfalls that other young stars experience.

ET: What can we look forward to this season on "Wizards of Waverly Place"?

Selena Gomez: It has definitely impressed me, to be honest, because our show has been on so long and we have done so many episodes. I know that magic is endless. I was a little weary coming into this season, wanting to make sure we came back with a bang. They have surprised me. We are coming back with really fun storylines.

ET: On the first episode, do you reveal to the world that you are a witch?

Selena Gomez: I do. I expose that we are wizards. It is actually a test that ends up kicking me and my brother out of the wizard competition. So throughout the whole season, you find my character and David Henrie's character trying to get back into the competition because that was actually a test.

ET: Do your fans really think you can do magic?

Selena Gomez: It is the sweetest thing, because I have little, little fans that come up to me and ask, "Can you really do magic?" And the mom behind them will be whispering, "Say yes. Say yes." I am, "Do you believe it's real?" They are, "Yes, it's real." And I say, "Then that's what makes the magic real." I always try to turn it back to them because I feel bad. Most of the time, they know. They ask about the green screen and how we shot it. They are interested in how we do certain spells.

I just wanted to see how everyone's summer has been so far. I have been in the studio the last couple of days putting the final touches on my second album, I cannot wait for you guys to hear it. Also feels good to be back to Wizards with my family, night everybody.

"Wizards vs. Finkles" - Alex joins Harper's parent's vaudevillian act after deciding they are more fun than her own parents, but when she realizes the Finkles are all work and no play, she quickly comes up with a plan to get her kicked out of their performing group in a new episode of "Wizards of Waverly Place," premiering FRIDAY, JULY 30 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.

"Captain Jim Bob Sherwood" - Justin is thrilled to learn he has been selected to write an issue of the Captain Jim Bob Sherwood comic, but quickly loses enthusiasm after he discovers Alex has been selected to illustrate it. Forced to work together the two can't agree on what the comic should be about, so Alex uses magic to bring Captain Jim Bob Sherwood to life in a new episode of "Wizards of Waverly Place," premiering FRIDAY, JULY 23 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.

Selena looks stunning for Wizards!

Continuing on her promotional tour, Selena Gomez was spotted at the launch of Disney Channel’s “Wizards of Waverly Place” fashion range in London, England today (April 7).
The “Ramona and Beezus” babe looked lovely as she arrived at ASDA, sporting a black blouse with a multi-colored skirt and black heels. She as usual looked stunning.

In related news, Selena recently told press that she loves her crazy life, though she does get overwhelmed once in a while.
“Life is very hectic, but I feel like one of the luckiest girls in the world, and I love every single thing that I'm doing. Yes, at times it is a lot, but it's a lot of what I love. I would like to continue in music, but I have a feeling that acting is always going to have a more special place in my heart. I feel like that's going to end up taking over. But right now, I'm too obsessed with music.”

New Interview from Spain

Be sure to watch the video below from the Disney Channel Studios in Spain where Selena talks about her music and her album "Kiss and Tell". The interview starts at 0.54 seconds. The first few seconds shows a few clips of Selena posing for the cameras. Btw we would add bunch of photos. Also Selena will have a CD signing tomorrow at Madrid. Kids Choice Award 2010.!

OMG! SELENA WON BEST TV ACTRESS! I can't even describe how much I'm happy for not! She deserved this award more anyone and I'm so happy she got it cuz she's a brilliant actress. Thank you so much for all of you who voted! WE DID IT! I am sorry for posting this late but was out of city thats why.. but still I am sure next year also she will be taking the blimp again.

I also added pics of Selena when she arrived at the Kids Choice Awards Red Carpet looking incredibly beautiful in a very stunning yellow dress. She took photos with some celebrities and spent sometime to sign autographs and take photos with the fans. I added a few pictures from the red carpet and I'll be adding more photos through out the day and tomorrow. Be sure to take a look. Doesn't she looks stunning?!
