I want to apply for my OPT extension. I am currently on 12-month OPT.
I am too close to my deadline. So guys please reply ASAP.
I found 2 contradicting information on USCIS website.. Please help..

I work in Health Insurance domain so if you need help in understanding the technical terms, may be I can help.
Kaiser Permanente mght be a good option if you are buying at individual level. I am not sure if they provide services in TN but if they do, then I would go for it. It is a HMO plan but KP hospitals provide reasonably good services at reasonable price in California.

I joined another employer on H1b this May. I did not use my EAD since I wanted to maintain my H1 status. My employer is willing to support my I485 but I have not informed the USCIS about my change yet.
What does that mean? Have you used AC21 or it is not necessary.
Secondly, what about the job description match up?

IV is not for any particular nationals. While ROW is also affected because of retrogression, India and China are severely affected and there is hardly any movement in EB2/3 for India. The hard country limits in EB system and inability to capture unused visa numbers are just 2 of the many reasons responsible for retrogression. These forums have been misused by some people to advertise about their firm. May be the other member skimmed through the post and considered it a similar ad. OP has given a fitting response. ....and I understand that. I would be pissed off too if my priority date was earlier and my status was still pending. I actually believe that this is a fight for all of us and that is one of the reasons, I have contributed before and will continue to contribute to IV. This does not change the fact that I am in a messy situation. I posted to get some advise not to antagonize people.

Hello,
My husband and I submitted I-485 last year (I am not currently working). He already got the green card and mine is still pending. I've got my Advanced Parole in hand. We plan to visit Canada in May . I'd like to ask someone in similar situation regarding applying a temporary resident Canada visa.
On the column 8 of the 5257 Form "Applicant for a temporary resident visa made outside of Canada", "Immigration status of applicant in country where applying", which optioin should I pick? (Permanent Resident?) What date should I put in the box "valid until"?
When mailing the visa application, which supporting document should I send? Only the AP and I-485 receipt?
Anyone with similar experience could give some advice?? Thanks very much!!!

Having an approved I-140 does not mean you can 'indefinetely' work and live here automatically.
It is ONE of the steps to clear on the road to legal immigration.
Please consult your lawyer and he should direct you as to what to do next.......

Yesterday i got the mail from USCIS stating below. "My PD Dec 2006, INDIA, EB2 (I GOT MARRIED AFTER I APPLIED FOR I 485, SO MY WIFE IS NOT YET IN APPLICATION. I AM WAITING FOR DATES TO GET CURRENT FOR ME SO I CAN ADD HER INTO MY APPLICATION"

Smart man Anders!! I did the same thing a few weeks ago on one of my bird images!
My reasoning was slightly different in that at iso 1600 often there is little to no noise on the subject but tons in the OOF region! And NI removes detail and sharpness which I hate! So I did the same thing to background while holding the birds definition!
Enjoy and never worried about does this look natural question anymore! Nothing looks natural to me anymore :)

There is no information or caption on our home page that clearly states that this site/group is for highly skilled immigrants. We should come up with a caption that would convey this and also convey that its for all countries. We can add this beside the immigration voice logo.
The caption should be catchy and should convey the info....some thing like "by the people and for the people".

it would be difficult to show how a french degree is useful in your current job. Many companies get h1-b approved by showing a "business necessity"..ie, they need travel agents who speak a certain Indian language etc. Doing an MBA definitely will help, but not with the current job description. They are going to ask why the job requires an MBA?Ofcourse if you got a job teaching French, h1-b visa will be granted.

I have few questions regarding process and forms. Appriciate your hlep with those.
(1) I Last enetered as F-1. My F-1 visa stamp has expired. I currently have H-1B approved but never stamped on my passport. My I-140 approved and I-485 pending.
On form I-131 in section 3. "Class of admission" what I should write " F-1 "or "H-1B"?
(2) If I check on "More than One trip" in Part-7 section -1 of the form, does the process differ in any way? Does it need any extra fee? Does it need any extra document to support the multiple entry AP application? Will it affect approval in any way? How long (one yr two year?) is AP, once it is approved, is valid?
(3) I never had applied for EAD based on pending I-485 and does not intend to do so in near future.

(4) For my sons ( 15 yrs age) can I sign as a person preparing form?
