If my mistake, you need to contact USCIS, otherwise they can find out the mistake and revoke any time.
Not necessarily. USCIS works in a magical way. They might allot a number when the dates were current and work on the application leisurely and approve it after a while.

Politely: I think that my time can be better spent distributing fliers. My time is limited, if I attend this I won't have much time to distribute fliers. So unless someone convinces me why this is more important I won't be attending.

Hello Gurus,
I am EB3 India with PD September 2002.
After all these years of endless waiting I am called for
an interview at the local office in Philadelphia
in Nov 26th 2007.
Here are my details:
Labour Applied: September 2002
Labour approved: September 2003
I-140/I-485 Applied: April 2004
I-140 Pproved: August 2004
Got married: August 2005
Applied I-485 for Wife: June 2007
Current Status of Wife: H1-B
Countelss EADs and APs for me and a recent EAD approval
for my wife with her AP still pending and status is still H1-B.
In the beginning of this year, I resigned from the
company who was the original sponsorer of my GC.
I then started contracting on hourly basis and worked for
a decent hourly rate for the first half of this year.
Finally I got a full time offer with decent salary and
benefits and took the job. I started working for this
job - remotely and also took up another contracting job
on an hourly basis (Got greedy as I waited too long :-))
and started working on both these jobs.
The point is - it is a different technology and not even
remotely connected to my original job where my Labour
cert was applied and approved. I was a developer
back then and with all the experience, I couldn't
continue as the pay was too low and no growth at all.
I can have a letter of future employment that
states that I have on offer in the same technology
in which my original labour was applied and approved
and that is not a problem at all.
Please advise me on how to go about it. I can
afford to pay and take the best attorney with me
to the interview - some one who is very well known in
the Philadelphia area.
Any inputs/advise are really appreciated.
IMP: Icing on the cake - my PD was mentioned wrong in
the interview notice - it says april 2004 !!
That was when my i-140 was applied and not labour.
My labour was applied in September 2002 !!!

Did no one filed EAD after filing I-485 at a center different than his/her I-485 processing center?? Did this filing trigger transfer of case to different processing center?

I have worked for the same employer who filed my 485 as future employment for more than 6 years. He filed for H1 extension in last November'2006. It got denied in June'2007. But he send this denial as Motion to Reopen Case . For my safety I filed another H1 with another employer during this time and I am working for the new employer.
My 140 got approved when I am with my old employer itself. Now he is filing 485 for me as Future employment.
My question is after I receive AC21 and also after six months of receiving the receipt for 485 . Can I jump to another company or is it advisable to work for the company who filed my I-485 until I get my Green card or for how many months ?

with the job loss report announced this morning (over 500k lost last month, and 1.9million lost overall) its unlikely this will come through. Too hot button an issue. Even if teh quota is increased, like in 2002/2003 its unlikely it will be filled.
I am skeptical about H1B increase, (taking in to market conditions), I believe Obama administration will push for more number of green cards.
What do you guys think?

1 - if u have any new h1 approval notice after you came to US , then yr i-94 number will be same in approval notice , normally the last i94 and recent aproval notice 194 matches , u can cross check from there

filed my 140(EB3) regular processing Nebraska Service Centre with RD/ND=Oct25th 2006..
guys from April/May r still waiting and I think there must be whole load of 140 applications from June onwards..So maybe another backlog building up for 140 cases...If our application is not so strong and we file for prem.processing they might use a denial notice and knock us out..!!
Any idea when could my case be touched...expecting not until March..

I had absolutely no problems, it's all smooth as long as you carry all the supporting docs. I did have a shitty experience at JFK -- there are few morons at the POE you can't do much about.

I don't know the answer and would be interested to know, however in case if your friend flys via destinations like UK then he might face issues while going back. If the current US visa stamp is expired for an indian citizen, transit visa is needed. So keep that too in mind.

In either case she can always come here for interviews on a B2 visitor, I know people who have done/doing it for medical residency.
