Thanks for the heads up, I usually make it practice to push the latch wait a second and then go ahead and lift the screen.

You can put them anywhere you want them. There might be some dlls that'll end up somewhere in the Windows directory, but the bulk, if not all, of the app will reside where you put it.
My current MBP config has Win7 system on a partition on my drive bay drive and the games on another partition on my optibay drive.
You can also use Paragon NTFS to be able to read/write the Windows drives.
John
Awesome...thanks!
So, just to be clear, I need to format the opti-bay drive partition as NTFS so Windows can read it?

By using a 3rd party application. Here are 2 choices.
http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/15490
http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/17924
You might also consider creating a password protected disk image (don't store the password in your keychain  ). And then mount it, copy your.. umm.. sensitive material into it... and then unmount it. Next time you mount it, you will be prompted for the password.

Dr Evil:
I am trying to take over the world and it isnt easy for somebody like me, I need to know the info, I needed to be in the know. My PC prevented me from doing that.
The trouble was a freakin idiot designed my PC; it wasnt helping me steal nuclear warheads so I could hold the world to ransom.
My PC kept getting errors and it crashed so much, I could never complete my plans on properly. This would make Mr Bigglesworth upset. Meow!
Yeah, and when Mr Bigglesworth got upset I got angry, I had the PC staff at my local store li-qui-dated, yeah, huh-uh!
Thats when I got my Mac, thats when I could finally take over the world, it was so easy. My plans were made so simple.
My lasers would fire, The Alan Parsons Project actually worked.
With the software included with my Mac I could easily organise my iLife with my evil henchmen, instantly my Number 2 knew who he worked for.
It was so easy and I didnt need to spend billions of dollars either.

Before you think i am weird this is for my college project in media studies as well. I have to design an advert, so i did a switch advert. Yes i have seen the switch poster as well.

Another vote for Linotypes Font Explorer.
I think it's great. After the switch to OSX I found Suitcase a world of pain!
(It was great in 7,8 and 9!)

People brick iPhones because they are trying to unlock it and have to mess with the baseland. Theres really no risk in simply jailbreaking. Worse thing that can happen is you have to reset and restore. As far as iOS updates go, if you update, you lose your jailbreak. The jailbreak for 4.3 has not been publicly released yet and the tethered version that is out now is crap so wait for a public release of a 4.3 untethered jailbreak, or downgrade to 4.2.1 (if you saved your SHSH blobs) and jailbreak with Greenpois0n.

+1. I expect it will be released by end of June or early July. I'm not in a hurry as I have a family member buying my 2007 iMac. And I would prefer it pre-installed. Price is certainly a consideration. But as some have pointed out, with the Mac App Store, they may very well sell the DL version for less. I also hope Lion gets rid of the traditional optical and goes USB or DL only. That said I would love to see all restore disks be USB but I'm not sure that OS X can boot from a USB?
Yes it does I am testing Lion of a USB LaCie drive.

Now a days you have to protect the skin of the iphone. Total Body Skin covers your face again, and wraps around the sides and corners. Even the Home button is covered. Screen covers the face skin. Back to back skin covers the chrome.

Do you guys have other opinions regarding another good recording condensor for both vocals and guitar in the 100-200 dollar range?
AT 2020
i also would consider picking up a shure sm57. it works well on guitar cabs and for some vocal uses. (wouldn't be the first thing i reached for for acoustic guitar, though).

uicandrew,
While the terms of the warranty permit Apple to replace defective phones with refurbished parts, I have no reason to believe this unit is refurbished. The iPhone came with the plastic adhered to the screen and has no blemishes or anything.
I lost my patience and went ahead and downgraded to 1.0.2. I'm really enjoying using the camera with Pushr, so I may need to rethink trading.
I put a crystal film screen protector on it as soon as I removed the plastic, so it's still pristine.

What about investing in ARM Holdings or Intel stocks? Since Apple shares are incredibly high right now, thus difficult to afford, would it be wiser to invest in their parts? ARM is expected to be in iPhone 5, and presumably in iPad 3 and the next iPod... and all of those items sell extremely well. We can only expect them to sell even better as Apple increases their user base through Verizon and as they enter China.
Anyone have stocks in either ARMH or Intel? I am considering investing. Thoughts?

It's not an unreasonable expectation. Apple might not 'owe' you anything - but at this stage the OP hasn't made the purchase - they are trying to negotiate the purchase. Apple have announced they are updating software soon, OP could wait and buy later, or buy now. Apple would prefer buy now, so it's an exchange, OP agrees not to hold off on his purchase, Apple agrees to give him free software (the marginal cost of which, by the way, is essentially nil).
Or should we not try to negotiate with the almighty Apple gods?
Hey - there is only one Apple god and his name is Steve! ;)
