Sadly, Jeff Conaway has now passed away.
The actor died Friday at the age of 60 after falling into a coma most likely from prolonged prescription drug abuse. He had publicly shared his battle on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew who says (via People) he is certain Jeff did not overdose as some reports suggest.
Although he stressed me out with his nutcase girlfriend, Jeff was my favorite Celebrity Rehabber. He had audiences rooting for him and his recovery because despite the craziness, you could see glimpses of his loveable personality shining through.
Hopefully his struggle will not be used for lasting entertainment but as a real life lesson for others who need a wake up call. Rest in peace, Jeff Conaway.
