Open in Agadir Human Development Forum 2010
The Forum of Human Development, under the Presidency of the High King Mohammed VI, were opened on Monday in Agadir, with the participation of over 1700 figures, including nearly 300 foreign dignitaries from Europe, Africa, Asia and America.
The opening ceremony of the Forum was marked by a message from King Mohammed VI to the participants, which was read by the Interior Minister, Mr. Taieb Cherqaoui.
Under the theme "Human Development, the Moroccan experience of the NHRI," the forum will be an opportunity for participants to discuss for two days, the stock of five years (2005-2010) achievements of socio-economic cultural, sporting and proximity requiring a total budget exceeding 10 billion DH and also to address three major themes related to the issue of human development.
The first session will analyze the positive impact that can have any policy for human development on the process of redistribution of wealth. The second theme
will examine the relationship of cause and effect between human development programs and preserving the environment through sustainable development policies.
The third session will be devoted to RRs the regions can play in the fight against poverty and insecurity.
The second day of the Forum will be devoted to five panels of analysis and discussion should revolve around issues of human development.
