Agadir hosts two tournaments of the European Tour Golf
European golf tours will take place from March 31 to April 3 in Agadir. Hassan II Trophy - which is celebrating its fortieth anniversary this year - will take place in 2011 under the label of the European Tour. The tournament will be played on golf courses in the Palace Royal and Ocean, the first two rounds will take place in the Pro-Am. Note that the winner of the competitions will start with $ 1,500,000 the previous edition was held at the Golf Dar Es Salam in Rabat.
The second competition, the Lalla Meryem Cup will be played for ladies as part of the Ladies European Tour will be held at Golf du Soleil. Agadir is a city which has the largest number of golf course, in accordance with the requirements of international institutions of golf.
