Christina Aguilera splits from husband

I always wanted these two to last to prove that a powerful, beautiful, famous female can make it work with a non-famous, non-glamorous guy...  But, just like her music, Christina Aguilera's marriage is getting worse over time.

US Weekly was the first to report that the 29-year-old pop star and her husb Jordan Bratman have been separated for a few months.  The two are now living apart and will see how it goes apparently.



A 'source' explains, "They were very much in love. But over the last six months, it ­became clear they were more like friends than husband and wife."  Christina even tried to plan a trip to Italy to reignite the flame, but it didn't help.



The couple met in 2002 when he was a producer on one of her albums, and married in 2005 (that's when her music started to suck).  They have a 2-year-old son Max.



I think it's time for dirrty X-Tina to come back...
