Glee stars Dianna Agron, 24, Cory Monteith, 28, and Lea Michele, 24, posed for GQ magazine in their underoos (well, just the girls) and it's got some fans and parents all in a tiffy.
Their problem is that their children are fans of the show, therefore these ADULT actors should not be flaunting their shit in a men's magazine.
Cool, so your 8 and 9-year-old kids watch that show (even though it's rated 14+), who's really to blame here? Do you also allow your kids to read magazines for adult men? Probably not, so this shouldn't even be an issue.
Even though these people play teenagers on TV, they are in their mid and late 20's in real life. Plus, they have fans of the show who are actually over the age of 18, and who are mature enough to handle a little skin. It's not like it's fucking Playboy. Even if it was, you'd still be overreacting. Because it's not like your kids are gonna see it (and if they do, that's your own fault.)
Bottom line: It's not a few stars of a hit-show's responsibility to be your children's parents. How about YOU be the parent and monitor what your children see online, in magazines, and on TV? Try that! And if Lea, Dianna, and Cory have ruined their perfect role model image for you, get over it. (Uhh, Dianna's character Quinn got knocked up in high school... so she probably shouldn't have been a role model in the first place.)
Once again, it's not their job to teach your children anything about life. They're on a TV show for entertainment purposes only. And I'll say it one more time, it's not for young kids anyway! Hello, girl-on-girl action last week.
So if you're looking for wholesome family fun, try Dora The Explorer. Although, I think even she's slutted it up recently... Better yet, buy Scrabble.
