Bret Michaels is suing over his near-fatal brain hemorrhage

Bret Michaels blames the 2009 Tony Awards for his brain hemorrhage last year and is now suing them and CBS.



This is the on-stage accident he claims led up to his head injury resulting in him almost dying 6 months later:







TMZ reports Bret insists the producers of the show did not instruct him on how to safely exit the stage following his performance. The lawsuit filed reads, "One of the most common causes of this type of hemorrhage is head trauma -- exactly like the one Michaels suffered at the hands of the Tony Awards."



However, the Tonys are saying, "Pffft, you missed your mark, bro."



Still, it's a workplace injury.  You gonna lose, Tony... whoever you are.
