At 2:45 AM in West Hollywood, police pulled over a Mustang that had a case of the swerves. The driver, Matthew, was arrested on suspicion of DUI and his passenger, X-Tina, was taken into custody for acting sloppy. Apparently she was at the point where she wasn't able to take care of herself, a.k.a. loser drunk, too drunk to function, so they kept an eye on her until the shitfaced-ness wore off.
You know that if it weren't for her dumbass man though, she would have just passed out at home in her bed fully clothed... Instead she had to deal with the spins in a cold, dirty cell all night. I mean it was stupid of her to get into the car with him but clearly if she was that far gone, she probably didn't realize what she was doing. It's just unfortunate.
But because Christina wasn't being a pain in the ass (like Snooki), once she sobered up they let her go and aren't planning to prosecute her either. E! News reports she was super cooperative and totally not ragey or anything like that. And whoever at the station snapped that pic of her mugshot with their cell phone is so getting fired.
According to TMZ, before Matthew got behind the wheel all plastered, he and Christina were chugging two bottles of wine during their midnight dinner at some restaurant called Osteria Mozza. If you're a saint, you may wonder who orders entrees that late? Wasted people do, that's who. Most drunkies hit up a 24-hour McDonalds though... in a cab. Or stumble to the nearest donair place. I mean, I've never done that...
TMZ also claims that people in Christina's life have been trying to get her into rehab for weeks (well, she has been kind of messy lately). Britney Spears is all, "Who's out of control now?"
