I swear Eugene Levy has never given up on this franchise as he has appeared in ALL of the shit direct-to-DVD spinoffs.
Some of the original cast didn't make past the second movie (because they thought they were too good or something back then... Maybe they actually had a chance at a long-lasting career before they fucked it up for themselves a.k.a. Tara Reid, Chris Klein, Mena Suvari...) are in talks to return for the next instillment as well.
Stiffler's mom and that guy who played Tara Reid's orgasm giver are supposed to come back too. One name I'm not seeing in this article though is Alyson Hannigan. I'm sure she's real busy with How I Met Your Mother but you can NOT tell me that guy who stuck it in the apple pie and the band camp slut aren't still married!
