Will Ferrell is stupid busy lately. Not only is he saving The Office after Steve Carell peaced out, he's also shaving Conan O'Brien's beard off (that's a very important job) AND going mouth-to-mouth with John C. Reilly.

Will Ferrell cast in 4 episodes of 'The Office'

Good move NBC.  This sort of makes up for the Conan thing.



With news that Steve Carell is peacing out of The Office before the end of this season, it has been announced that Will Ferrell has signed on for a guest spot lasting four episodes.  RATINGS.  "Mmm... GOULET!"

The Anchorman costars will be in three episodes together, with Will doing another one after Steve's last show.  His character is said to be a branch manager just as dense as 'Michael Scott'.  That's what he does best.  That and total asshole.



Entertainment Weekly reports executive producer Paul Lieberstein as saying, "We found Steve Carell when he was nothing but a movie star and we turned him into a television star."



He adds, "We are proud to continue The Office‘s tradition of discovering famous talent, and we hope that once America gets a good look at Will, they’ll see what we see: tremendous raw sexuality."
