Ricky Gervais' best lines at the Golden Globes

Everyone is taking sides today over Ricky Gervais and whether he "crossed the line" hosting the Golden Globes last night.  Even the president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association says, "Some of the things were totally unacceptable."  I'm sorry but what did you expect?  If you wanted a host with shit all over their face from kissing all the celebs asses then you should have asked Ryan Seacrest.

First look of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) gets tangled up again with his ex Angelica (Penelope Cruz) in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, which is going to release on May 20, 2011

Johnny Depp and Tim Burton team up again for Dark Shadows

Ace actor Johnny Depp and ace director Tim Burton are joining hands again for a new film ‘Dark Shadows’. Earlier they have made seven films together and Dark Shadows is the 8 one.

Depp will play the role of vampire Barnabas Collins in this flick and it is a adaptation of the 1960s TV 'gothic soap opera' Dark Shadows. Warner Bros. is going to distribute this movie. Richard Zanuck, Christi Dembrowski and David Kennedy are also producers. Seth Grahame-Smith penned the script.

Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie’s 'The Tourist'

The official poster of action thriller ‘The Tourist’ starring Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie has debuted online. The film is directed by Oscar winning director Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck of ‘The Lives of Others’. Julian Fellowes (Gosford Park, Vanity Fair, Young Victoria), Christopher McQuarrie (Usual Suspects, Valkyrie) and Jeffrey Nachmanoff (The Day After Tomorrow, Traitor) write screenplay for it. The flick is remake of the 2005 French film ‘Anthony Zimmer’. Sony Pictures is releasing the movie on December 10^th. 

The movie revolves around Frank Taylor (Johnny Depp), an American tourist visiting Italy to mend a broken heart. Elise (Angelina Jolie) is an extraordinary woman who deliberately crosses his path.

Johnny Depp’s first photo from 'Pirates 4'

Johnny Depp is back in action in the protagonist role as Captain Jack Sparrow in adventurous sequel "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides". Rob Marshall is directing this film and producer Jerry Bruckheimer is making it.

The film also stars Geoffrey Rush, Penelope Cruz, Ian McShane and Kevin McNally.  The film will be released 3D on May 20, 2011.

Alice in Wonderland official teaser trailer

The film ‘Alice in Wonderland’ is being directed by Tim Burton. The screenplay was written by Disney's own Linda Woolverton, of Beauty and the Beast, Homeward Bound, and The Lion King previously. The movie is based on Lewis Carroll's beloved series of books that were first published in 1865. Disney is bringing the flick in both digital 3D and 2D theaters worldwide on March 5th, 2010 early next year.

The film stars Johnny depp, Mia Wasikowska, Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman, Anne Hathaway, Michael Sheen, Stephen Fry, and many more talented actors.

Gore Verbinski trenches 'Pirates of the Caribbean 4'

Hollywood director Gore Verbinski, the director of producer Jerry Buckheimer and Disney Picture's blockbuster ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ trilogy, with not direct the 4th installment of the movie franchise. Instead he will direct the full screen adaptation of bestselling video game ‘BioShock’ which is to be produced by Universal Pictures.

The 4th installment of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ is expected to go on floors by mid 2010. When asked about this Gore Verbinski said "I had a fantastic time bringing 'Pirates' to life, and I am eternally grateful to Jerry, Johnny and the rest of the creative and production team. I'm looking forward to all of us crossing paths again in the future."
The film based on a script by John Logan is expected to start shooting in 2010.

However before Gore Verbinski directs ‘BioShock’, he is busy direct the Paramount Pictures animated film ‘Rango’ which has also been written by John Logan, and will feature the voice of Johnny Depp. ‘Rango’ is due to release by March 18, 2011. According to reports Gore Verbinski is also developing a new live action movie based on the Hasbro board game ‘Clue’ which has been written by Steven Knight. In addition he is also expected to develop a project called ‘Black Hole’ about a scammed rancher, and David Fincher's ‘Heavy Metal’.

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer roped in Oscar nominated screenwriter John Logan of ‘The Last Samurai’, ‘Any Given Sunday, ‘Gladiator’, ‘The Aviator’, and ‘Sweeney Todd’ fame.

Amber Heard to star opposite Johnny Depp in ‘The Rum Diary’

Hollywood naughty Amber Heard is in is in talks to star opposite Johnny Depp in ‘The Rum Diary’ to be directed by Bruce Robinson. The film is an adaptation of the Hunter S. Thompson novel.

The movie is about a washed-up, hard-drinking journalist named Paul Kemp (Depp) in 1950s Puerto Rico at a critical turning point in his life while writing for a run-down newspaper in the Caribbean.

Amber Heard will play the role of Chenault, the free-spirited girlfriend of a fellow journalist Sanderson, who cheats on him with Kemp, trying to convince him to run away with her. Heard's films include ‘All the Boys Love Mandy Lane’ and ‘Pineapple Express’. She is also going to star in John Carpenter’s “The Ward,” and also has a cameo in Woody Harrelson’s “Zombieland”

The shooting of the flick is going to start on 30th March, 09 in Puerto Rico. Johnny Depp's Infinitum Nihil, Christi Dembrowski and Graham King's GK Films are producing this film.
