I haven't received it yet. I was looking for anyone who had a similar situation. Why would they require more evidence for a 3 year old boy??? They approved the rest of my family yesterday and sent cards for production notice but my 3 year old got an RFE.
Who told you that RFE's are only for ages 10 and above?
They have rights to send RFE's to an infant, asking what star he/she was born in.

saimrathi, I am in the same boat too, got the 693 supplement form last week from DR's office, but we filed 485 application in july 2nd week.this is not our mistake. do we need to worry about this ?
I recd supplementary forms to I-693 for my wife and I from the Civil Surgeon earlier this week. Along with the supplementary forms I recd two envelopes (one addressed to me, and the other one to my wife) that had DO NOT OPEN written on them. I sent these to my lawyer's office.
I called the doctor�s office and this is what I found out. Apparently, when the doctor had first given us the sealed envelopes (in June 2007) she didn�t know that the Supplementary form needs to go with the certification she provided us in the sealed envelopes. We sent the sealed envelopes with our Concurrent I-140 = 485 application recd at NSC on 7/2/07 (as per UPS). Now, some of her clients have recd letters from USCIS asking for the Supplementary form, so she has sent the same out to all of her clients regardless of them getting a letter from USCIS. I hope our application doesn�t get rejected due to this; no checks cashed as of today.
My lawyer's response: No the application should not get rejected because of this...however we will submit the supp doc's report to the USCIS when we get the receipt notices.
Anyone else in the same boat? Is this something to worry about? See signature for more info...

I am in the same boat as you. I landed in Sep 2006 and have valid Canadian PR till Sep 2011. My 3 year expiry is nearing. And I am really confused with my EB3 India 2004 PD in retro. But also I have gotten married and not applied my wife on my Canadian PR at all. So that is another problem. I intend to voluntarily relinquish my Canadian PR status and then re-apply brand new with my wife this year as US H1B and GC process rules with USCIS is getting weirder by the day.
Also you can absolutely without any problem go and stay for next two years (730 days) before your first PR card expires even though you were out of Canada or were never resident there for first 3 years and retain your Canadian PR status. I know it for sure.

Yes they should have stopped long back with perm introduction as it was no longer needed after perm.
We cant prove they are selling it.
P.S: I am totally against law breaking Indian Consultancy companies, and urge every employee to sue them for arny law they break.

I think you can file an FOIA (freedom of information act) form to get copy of your 140 approval from USCIS. The only problem is that it will take some time to do that.
However, do it in any case. You will need that 140 approval later on, even for filing H1 transfer after your intial 6 years are gone.

The copies are not employer's properties. The petitions are. A photocopy is a piece of paper that says something. If you have photocopy, doesnt mean you own that H1 or 140. If someone has a photocopy of the title of my car, does it mean that he owns that car?? NO. I still own it. Anyone can have a photocopy of it. In fact, DMV does have a copy of it. Yes I changed job and my new company did the EB2 filing. It took roughly 9 months from starting the Ad, recruitment efforts, filing and approval.

Did you also mail them other supporting documents such as:
copy of current I-94
copy of I-485 receipt
DL/PP first two pages etc?
These are all mandatory supporting documents to be mailed.
I just got the RFE for the I-131 and they just asked for two pictures.
I applied online and the asked me not to send anything, so now they requested these pics.
I already sent them, so hopefully I'll get my travel document soon!

One good news and one bad news. According to the AILA, the Conference committee took out both immigration riders from the H.R. 3043. It means that there will be no increase of the H-1B to $5,830. At the same time, there will be no recapture of EB-3 visa numbers for the Schedule A workers through this legislation.
The wicked witch is dead. As for me I have packed my bags and moved to Canada. I first came in 1999 as a student and immigration has been downhill since then. It has left a bitter taste for me.

Fun series.
However, I can't help but feel slightly envious. The ducks approach me too, but as soon as I whip my camera out they dart away (only to return as soon as the camera is safely tucked back into the bag again).
OTOH, I don't bring duck-food with me... :)
On a more serious note: Aren't you afraid of making them a tad too tame? Won't they become easy prey once the wabbit season is over and duck season starts? (Crispy duck tastes extremely good, but I try to avoid eating duck if I can help it -- they're just too cute! :D)

I have consulted USCIS rep by taking InfoPass. She was friendly and talked with USCIS Texas rep (thats where mine went), they told her to re-apply. She sent an email and received a response saying to re-apply...................................
