Noooo!
The little old lady rebel who tossed the "heart of the ocean" diamond off the back of a boat into the ocean in the 1997 movie Titanic has passed away.
The Washington Post reports 100-year-old Gloria Stuart died in her Los Angeles home Sunday. At the age 87, after a loooong break from acting, she took on the role of a fictional 101-year-old Titantic survivor, Rose. The younger version was played by Kate Winslet. That year, Ms. Stuart became the oldest person to be nominated for an Oscar.
Rest in peace you precious thing.
Hey, I wonder if when Gloria died she saw Leonardo DiCaprio at the top of a stairway too...
