Charlie Sheen booed on tour

Charlie Sheen's "My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not an Option" tour bombed on opening night in Detroit this weekend.  That's because it was more like the "My Boring Trainwreck of Crack Stories/Booing Is An Option" show.

Entertainment Weekly has a complete breakdown of events with highlights.  Here's a summary:

  • It started with the crowd chanting Charlie's name and all his lame catch phrases in anticipation.

  • The poor opening act got his ass booed off stage because they couldn't wait for the main event, which they probably now regret. Plus that comedian probably immediately regretted taking a job opening for Charlie Sheen.

  • The show started like an hour late.

  • Sheen's "goddesses" made out on stage most likely as a distraction.

  • There was actually a video of him playing Call Of Duty.

  • When he was booed, 30 minutes in,  Charlie yells, "I already got your money, dude!"

  • Then he scolds the audience, "You paid your hard-earned money without knowing what this show was about."

  • He tries to talk about crack even though the audience isn't feeling it.

  • He takes questions but doesn't answer them and keeps trying to talk about crack.

  • People start leaving early.

This featured 20/20 bit COULD have worked, if it didn't go on for fucking ever.

Yeah, the original was better... when he wasn't trying so, so hard.  I can only imagine how painful his live show must have been.

Can all this Charlie Sheen hype be over now?  He's not cool.  And the only thing he had going for him, his "comedy", is clearly not happening either.  Please retire.
