But my gut feeling says you are all correct and this is a con.
I'm gonna request my friend to meet him in the city.
If he doesn't have a 32GB iphone sealed, he won't be getting his bargaining chip back.

Wouldn't it be easier to wrap the command in a bash script and do an rexec to execute it remotely?

I also have a pair. They're a perfect complement to my iPhone when used with the headset.
About the bass response, I've found that getting a great, punchy, and tight kick sound depends mainly on the fitting of the earbuds. Achieving an air-tight seal is critical for this.
All in all a great pair of earbuds!

Get the i7. Based on what you said you were going to use it for (besides gaming), it'll be worth it.
I may be wrong, but my understanding about vram is not that the 6790m is not powerful enough for 2GB, but that games right now don't typically need the full 2GBs. That being said, of all the upgrade choices I made, the jump to 2GB seemed the most brainless: not that much more money for a little bit more future proofing.

I don't care who gets them. I have sent you a few PMs and haven't heard back from you. The other guy is online as well, just waiting on a payment. If I don't here from him within the hour, they are all yours.
i have been so busy and havent even set up a paypal account yet, so its more likely that u will have success selling to him than me

why exactly did i pay $1500 to attend if they're going to make the videos available free less than a week after the event?

I removed my Samsung 470 SSD from an HP laptop that had Win 7 running. Trim was enabled automatically with Win 7. When I put it into my new Macbook Pro trim was not enabled. You can check by going into the Apple, then About, then More Info and finally into Serial ATA. When you scroll down you will see that trim is not enabled.( Without it, the SSD will fill up and slow down. Google it and see what it does). Groths.org had a Trim Enabler patch that worked perfectly. I downloaded it and clicked on it and it installed. When I went back into the Apple, etc I found that trim had been enabled. Kudos to Oskar. I dropped a couple of bucks on him from Paypal because I appreciate this kind of work. Maybe Apple will have trim enabled in the next OS, like Win7.

i am finding that Safari 5.1 is almost unusable on Lion. It drops all internet connections and i have to use network preferences to reboot if you will just to get it use my wifi everytime.
the bookmark bar doesn't work and on and on. im using chrome and its fast as heck on lion. too many bugs to use lion for everyday right now...
That has nothing to do with Safari, it's the Wi-Fi changes Apple made in Lion (issue that will be fixed eventually).
What do you mean the bookmark bar doesn't work?
i have the latest developer build of chrome and the latest build of firefox as well and they both work perfectly for me on lion...
I'm using Chrome on Lion, just sucks that the new scrollbars and full screen options aren't there yet.

There also should be more members with a sense of humor in this forum.
I find the picture funny, though I have to admit it was way funnier 10 months ago when it was posted all over the net including Gizmodo and Engadget IIRC. ;)

That sounds scary... fortunately if you password is long enough it would take a lot to get it up to the last digit. Thats pretty strange though. I guess if I had a 1 letter password anything would work?
Hmmmm.... You probably should report this to apple!

Not sure why you didn't just move along instead of posting a snide comment. I read the product review and saw a variety of answers. I came here to confirm them
I read that you have to go to sound in system preferences and change the output to tv once you hook the cord up. Can you confirm that works?
Yes this'll work. I don't know why dqpassat is having problems though as the cpu speed has nothing to do with this.

I agree. If you put a SSD in the 09 Mac Mini you can always take it out again before you eventually sell the Mini if you wish.

None of those hard drives in my opinion. Get a Hitachi 500 GB 7200 rpm drive. Best bang for buck. It's quiet, fast, and reliable. There's a reason apple uses them and Toshiba over WD and Seagate. I've had bad experiences with the whole Scorpio line of hard drives. They were always loud and spun up and down at random intervals causing beachballs.

It's all the dogs fault.
Reminder don't use a dog to spray the screen in the future.
Of course some of the other junk could be building up on the screen, certainly hate the stuff that builds up on polycarb headlights and turns them yellow. PIA to clean (most it's the remembering to do it that's hard).
