I think getting salary regulary but salary slip after three or more months is common scenario in industry (deleberate attempt by employers, so that H1B transfer can't be filed). I have faced this music, my kid facing it and I am sure many people facing this.
I was lucky to go about it, USCIS did not ask at the time of transfer. Need to get idea, how others have handled it. Does bank statement work in this case?

Just call your local AAA office and they will tell you everything.. Mostly they take photo in main local office.
If you are plus member you get free 8 photos. I guess for regular member you will 6.
Can you detail how to get the photos taken from AAA?

I think all Gravitation was saying is PD needs to be after 1st May 2001.
This is an interesting theory about EB3 ppl moving to EB2 and jamming EB2 as well. Good for EB3 ppl having PB in 2003 at least.
Although it does scare me that even if 20% people moved to EB2, and EB2 is now stagnant, so how many more are left in EB3 before June 2003.

gc_chahiye, if you want gc_chahiye then call and talk to your lawmaker. Last year only a handful of them knew about the problems related to skilled immigration. Today many more recognize our issues, but a lot more is needed.
We cannot assume that all the lawmakers know what 'EB' or 'Retrogression' means, if you want a GC then take the first step of empowering yourself by calling your lawmaker and educating them about this mess. Try it, you will thank yourself.
We all have powerful human interest stories, discussing them on forums will provide stress relief for a short time. Discussing it with people that matter will make a bigger difference.
can someone tell me (PM if you dont want it on a pubic board) what went wrong with SKIL Bill last year? Where did it fail (senate/house?) did it just get dropped, or went up for vote and did not make it?
Googling around, and am not able to find anything...

It appears TSC (Texas Service Center) started using new system CHAMPS, which is not connected to the online case status system.
Any one saw either SOFT / HARD LUDs on their cases pending in TSC in last two / three months?

Can I file concurrently I-140 and I-485 if the labor is approved but haven't received the hard copy? What do I need to attach to these applications to substitute for the hard copy?
If you have a screenshot of approval, you can use that to file concurrently!
I am in exact same situation, except I have already filed on July 2nd. I am not very sure about this whole thing, but some lawyers are saying this only applies to people filing from July 17 to Aug 17th, I dont know. I will keep my fingers crossed and see what will happen to my application.

My attorney told me the same thing. USCIS wants to know if it is a legitimate business. However, if you wish to start/buy a business. Approach SCORE / SBA at your county. Make a business plan. Plan it out with recruiting employees at a later stage. After some time apply for green card. You never know you would be able to make a succesful business.
I went through some of the process but it does not suit me so i backed off.

Guys..i have noticed that so many other members has already been complained about the getting Red dots for no reason...i got the red for this post for just a spell mistake. By the way my service center was Nebraska and my Receipt date was outside their processing time. ( I mailed my application on 08/17/2007 and their processing date is 08/10/2007). Looks like they are very conservative when posting their processing dates.

Thanks for the sample email2. I am going to talk with HR on Monday to post it. The branch that I work in has many graduates that I beleive are on H1-B status. I have to convince them that they are about to face retrogression problems some day.
