Movie proposal

Normally I'd say never propose in a movie theatre... sticky floor, people "shhh!!"-ing you, that whole thing... but if you have a connection at the local theatre and put together a proposal "movie trailer", then by all means go for it. Wait don't-- it's been done.



This couple calls it the "Greatest Marriage Proposal EVER!!!" I wouldn't say it's the greatest, it goes on a little too long and you can never tell these days whether it's fake or not. Like, why didn't the bride-to-be question the camera in her face filming her watching movie previews? But whatever, it's still cute.







I wonder if she's a little pissed she missed Fast Five though?



P.S. How many marriage proposals are more about the goal to go viral rather than get married now? Just asking...

Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, and their six children faced the paparazzi for a family outing in New Orleans over the weekend (via TMZ).

I also can't believe they've gone over 2 years without having or adopting another kid.

Best 2011 Super Bowl ad

After watching all the Super Bowl ads this year, I've decided people like commercials best where:

• a) animals act like humans


• b) there's a cute/funny kid in it (even if that kid is Justin Bieber - "What the f***s a Bieber?")

But it was "The Force" from Volkswagen that got most people talking and WATCHING with already over 16 million views on YouTube and counting!







Turns out the kid who plays Darth Vader in that spot is a 6-year-old named Max Page who was born with a heart defect.  According to the Today Show, he had his first operation when he was 3-months-old and now has a pacemaker.  Dawww, well now he's even more adorable!!

The first Chilean miner rescue

In case you missed it live on CNN, watch the first of 33 miners to be rescued in Chile.  Get ready to cry:







Aweee, that little boy is SO cute!



As of right now, 18 miners have been rescued and there are 15 more to go.  It's been almost 16 hours since the first rescue, and it's expected to continue until tomorrow.



The Telegraph in the UK reports Each miner has been given a pair of $450 Oakley sunglasses to protect their retinas from damage when they reach daylight after so long underground.  Plus, so they be lookin' gooood.



And apparently it's not all happy news for the families waiting to be reunited with their loved ones half a mile underground... at least five wives have been forced to come face to face with their husband's mistresses, who they had no idea about prior to the rescue operation.  One miner even has FOUR women fighting over him!



Hahaha, brutal.  I'm sure that guy is considering staying underground...

This Pekingese from Texas now holds the Guinness World Record for having the longest dog tongue in the world.  At 4.5 inches, it's almost as big as him...  Please tell me it's done growing.
