You can't sayyy thattt.
Kobe Bryant lost his mind at the Lakers game last night and chose the wrong moment to yell a homophobic slur... when the camera was right on him. But I'm glad he got caught because maybe now he'll stop spitting out something so derogatory.
If you don't know what he said (I can't even write it, I hate it so much) it starts with F and rhymes with Bob Saget. If you're still like, "Huh? What? Uhhh?", bless your soul... and cover your eyes because you shouldn't have to read Kobe's lips:
TMZ reports the NBA has fined him 6 figs. He makes nearly $50 million a year, it won't hurt him but that's not the point.
In a statement the commissioner of the NBA says, "Kobe Bryant’s comment during last night’s game was offensive and inexcusable. While I’m fully aware that basketball is an emotional game, such a distasteful term should never be tolerated. Accordingly, I have fined Kobe $100,000. Kobe and everyone associated with the NBA know that insensitive or derogatory comments are not acceptable and have no place in our game or society."
Kobe is planning to appeal but he has apologized to anyone he may have offended. Now replace that ugly "f" word with "freak", "fool", or "fart-face" and you'll never get in trouble again.

Gay bashers suck
No wonder gay athletes are so reluctant to come out...
After the Toronto Raptors won their game on Sunday, teammates Leandro Barbosa and Reggie Evans, who scored 18 points together, jokingly held hands for the camera on the way to the locker room.
Outsports.com reports this has led to hateful comments with the "f-word" and other homophobic slurs being tossed around online. Really? Over some light-hearted hand holding? I thought it was a cute male-bonding moment. Of course, nobody says anything when football guys tap each other on the ass.
Why does calling someone gay have to be the worst insult people think there is? Get a new vocab, it's pathetic.

Dancing With The Stars season 12 cast
Dancing With The Stars has revealed their season 12 cast... It includes some of the least famous people I can think of.
- Chelsea Kane: a Disney ho who isn't Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato or Selena Gomez.
- Chris Jericho: a WWF (WWE) wrestler from the late 90's/early 2000's who has actually smelled what The Rock was cooking. Example. And yes, he's cut his hair since...
- Hines Ward: an NFL player who is on that "Black and Yellow, Black and Yellow, Black and Yellow, Black and Yellow" team.
- Kendra Wilkinson: Hugh Hefner's ex-girlfriend, wife, mother, and has the worst intro to a reality show ever. See?
- Kirstie Alley: actress from Cheers, Look Who's Talking, It Takes Two, Veronica's Closet, etc. No longer Jenny Craig's bitch.
- Mike Catherwood: Dr. Drew's bitch... well, his radio co-host on Loveline.
- Petra Nemcova: supermodel and a do-gooder so it's hard to hate her.
- Ralph Macchio: the Karate Kid who isn't Will Smith's son...
- Romeo: the son of an old school rapper who isn't Will Smith.
- Sugar Ray Leonard: a boxer and sports broadcaster. I won't say anything sassy about him cuz he can kick ass.
- Wendy Williams: BET talk show host... will need the tallest dance partner available.

Carrie Underwood's man is traded to Nashville
Mike Fisher has played 11 seasons in the National Hockey League with one team... Ottawa Senators. He got married last summer to country superstar Carrie Underwood and now all of a sudden he's been traded to Nashville where she lives.
CONVENIENT!
No seriously, I don't think the NHL gives a shit where you want to be playing and it just worked out this way.
According to TSN, the Senators are in rebuilding mode so they need to do what's best for their team which has recently lost 11 games in a row. In exchange for Fisher, they got a 2011 first-round draft pick and a conditional 2012 selection. The Predators, who have a real shot at making the playoffs, are just adding another top-line player to increase their chances of winning the Stanley Cup.
While the 30-year-old hockey player insists he never requested a trade saying, "I loved it in Ottawa. But if I were to be traded, I felt Nashville was a great fit for me."
Seems like a win-win for everyone. No sex on game days, Mike.
Can I stop talking about sports now?

X-Tina's Super Bowl rehearsal
See, she knows the words... and it could have been so good!
Christina Aguilera may have effed up the national anthem at the Super Bowl on Sunday, but she killed it in rehearsal... And once she nailed the big voice part, she didn't even feel the need to finish. I mean, why would she? She's probably sang it a million times...
My favorite part is the commentary hehe.
Can we get over this now? Because there's no way X-Tina even came close to topping this epic anthem fail, which I'll never get over! Haaaa:
SO GOOD.

X-Tina messes up the national anthem
It's not MY national anthem so I had no idea Christina Aguilera screwed up while singing it at the Super Bowl yesterday, but that she did.
I guess she was supposed to say, "o'er the ramparts we watched" but she sang "what so proudly we watched," instead. And then no one was proud.
At least she can actually SING. Unlike these four robots.

Black Eyed PLEASE never do that again
The light show was fantastic, I loved the dancers, and nobody can top Usher's sick moves!
But from the audio problems to singing in autotune/off-key, Black Eyed Peas fans were left disappointed at halftime during the Super Bowl last night.
The group sang a medley of their hits including "I Gotta Feeling", "Boom Boom Pow", and then Fergie took on (and failed) "Sweet Child O' Mine" with Slash... followed by "Pump It", "Let's Get It Started", and "OMG" featuring Usher (who should have done the entire halftime). Next up "Where Is The Love" with NO Justin Timberlake making his return to the Super Bowl. Freakin' teases... Finally, "The Time (Dirty Bit)" and "I Gotta Feeling" once more.
Great, now do we have to suffer through 6 more years of classic rock because of this?

Body dunk
If a regular slam dunk is worth 2 points then this should count for at least double!
I feel sorry for everyone who had to follow that...

Carrie Underwood is a snob
I've never been more annoyed at Carrie Underwood.
The country singer is trying to convince everyone she just loooves being a hockey wife and jet-setting to see her husb play in the NHL, but I have a feeling she's a nightmare to travel with.
Today in an interview, Carrie told a radio station (via US Weekly) that on a recent stop in Montreal, their rental car got broken into. That's unfortunate, yes, but what she said next is only hurting herself... She goes, "So that was fun. I am not going back to Montreal."
Oh cool, so you're never going to play a concert in Montreal then, the second-largest city in Canada? That would be like saying, "I'm never going back to L.A." Way to alienate your MTL fans by judging them on ONE incident that happened in their city, stupid.
Plus you have no idea what you're missing, Underwood... Montreal is one of the most beautiful and historic cities in Canada. And now I HOPE Mike Fisher gets his ass traded from Ottawa to there! Deal with that, snotface.

Barbara Walters' Most Fascinating People
Barbara Walters has revealed who will be appearing in her annual Most Fascinating People special this year, that is except for the #1 pick of course... and the #2 apparently...
On the 2010 list:
But for the last 5 years, the #1 most fascinating person of the year has been a woman...
2009: Michelle Obama
2008: Tina Fey
2007: J.K. Rowling
2006: Nancy Pelosi
2005: Camilla Parker Bowles.
Isn't Lady Gaga this year too obvious of a choice??
On the 2010 list:
- Kate Middleton: about to wear a big ass wedding gown as Prince William's wifey to be.
- Sandra Bullock: picked up an Oscar, a baby, and dropped a husband all in the span of a few months.
- Justin Bieber: teen popstar, nail polish designer, and hair inspiration for young men everywhere.
- Sarah Palin: now known as Bristol Palin's mom.
- LeBron James: the reason Cleveland cries at night.
- Jennifer Lopez: an extremely overpaid new American Idol judge.
- Betty White: self-explan... just a true gem of a woman.
- The cast of Jersey Shore: a group of young adults destined to get diagnosed with either skin cancer or liver disease... Or incurable STDs.

Tony Romo, take notes
I'm not usually a fan of football, but this is a sick fake out! Yet, kind of sad...
I bet the other team really loves being able to replay that on the internet.

Paul the Psychic Octopus has died
If you're wondering why the fish in your fish tank are hiding out in their pretend castles today, it's because Paul the Psychic Octopus has died. You can't tell that the fishies are crying because of all the water that surrounds them, but they are!
In case you've forgotten, Paul the pus rose to fame during the World Cup this summer when he correctly predicted the winner in 8 out of 8 matches. Something even Sylvia Browne wouldn't be able to pull off... Back in July, he retired at the ripe old age of 2-years-old. TMZ reports he was found dead in his tank this morning.
He never did make it to age 3, the average life of an octopus... So obviously I suspect foul play.
