Oudaden the Moroccan band occurred on Monday in Prague, as part of the cycle "Jazz Meets World" organized, now the capital Czech with the participation of music groups from Europe, Asia and America.
Before an audience spellbound, the Moroccan musical group made a brilliant performance that reflects the plural Morocco playing rhythms inspired by Arab, Amazigh, Gnawa, Houari and others, said a statement from the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco Prague.
Africa, the cradle of jazz, however, were not represented in the series "Jazz Meets World", the participation of the Moroccan group has filled the void by playing tunes that also rhythmic jazz, showing thus the roots of Morocco in the African continent and its openness to music and world cultures.
This is the first time in a decade, a group of Moroccan music happening in Prague.
Established in 1978 in the outskirts of Agadir, the group Oudaden "which was a resounding success both in Morocco and abroad, has captivated a generation of music lovers authentic.
The group Oudaden, "which combines traditional and modern instruments inspired by world music and traditional repertoire Amazigh, occurred in Mali, Tanzania, Malaysia, France and Tunisia, and plans to occur soon in Brazil.
